TJ Nails Spa Leander — Local services in Leander

This salon is awesome!!! My daughter and I came in for birthday treatments this morning for the first time and we will definitely be back. Our manis/pedis were the best we've ever had! The salon was really clean and smelled nice. All of the employees were cheerful, warm and welcoming to the guests. We left feeling relaxed, happy and refreshed!

There was a woman (see mandakini erra's 1 star review below) who came in 45 minutes late for her appointment and sat next to us for a mani/pedi. She was very rude to the salon owner (a man) and demanded that he accommodate her treatments in an unrealistically short time frame even though she was late. She argued with him and also complained about her nail polish color at one point and the cost of her treatment. The salon owner was very nice to her and got her treatments done in the time frame she requested. The woman then proceeded to go on Google and leave the salon a 1 star review saying the owner was "rude to her" and "the salon is too costly." I'm appalled by her fictitious rendition of these series of events especially since we were sitting there witnessing it. The salon owner handled her with grace and respect during this encounter.

By far the worst experience I've had getting my nails done.

Brought pictures of the nail designs I wanted and was told that they're all not possible to be done as they're printed? First time hearing about this. I had to quickly find a simpler design on the spot.

The first nail tech filed my nails unevenly and put on the base coats unevenly which left streaks. She never asked me to check and the second tech (the owner) did the ombre with a spray gun. After the ombre, I could see the streaks and asked about redoing it. Obviously, they were frustrated at me for asking, but shouldn't they have known as they were the ones doing my nails?? They never asked me to check and just passed me along to the next tech. As I was getting the gel off, they kept complaining about me in Vietnamese.

At this point, I was done and didn't want the ombre anymore. I paid for my solid gel color for $40. The shop itself was pretty cramped and dirty. Wouldn't recommend coming here. Premium prices for a...

Update: Bryan has done my manicure the last two times and two different people have done my Pedi. Today or was Lynn. I don't remember the name of the young lady who did it in Nov. These last two times have been fabulous! Bryan a addressed one small issue I was having with my terribly weak nails and my Mani in Nov lasted much better. Today, I got these! I'm not big for lots of color on my nails but I wanted something festive for the holidays. When I saw another customer with this look, I knew that's what I wanted! Color 168 with Chrome on top. I am so happy I can't stop looking at my nails. They are PERFECT!! The photos don't do them justice.

October 2022 I have been here four times now and I've had a different person do my manicure each time. One time my nails were filled down to far and I had some nicks on my cuticles from the drill. The other three times went very well and my nails looked great. I've never been to a nail salon that was perfect, so I'm very happy with TJ Nails....
