We went in last night (3/2/2021) for my wife and I to merge our phone numbers into a family plan. I called in to find out what needed to be done to make a prepaid phone line into a postpaid and they made it sound very easy until I arrived at 6:30pm. After arriving they told me that I needed to call corporate loyalty support to get them to waive locking my phone for 90 days. It took about 45 minutes to talk to loyalty support and when I went back in at 7:15pm (a whole 45 minutes before close) the lady told me that she couldn't start creating a phone plan for us because she wasn't allowed to work after 8pm. This store let a brand new employee who knew nothing about their products close the store. They completely wasted my time and I'm now a happy customer of their competitor because of it. I had not handled my last several phones with the best of care and was looking for a real "cheapie." Richard was incredibly informative, provided minute details and covered every nuance in getting me into new phone without "selling" me anything. What an asset he brings to the store and the company. His expertise, his knowledge of the plans and his genuine concern for my needs, above all else, cannot be overstated. This may be the first time I stepped into a store as such and can honestly say it was a pleasure. Thank you to Samantha as well for her valuable input and bubbly manner. Read moreVery unprofessional. My husband went there to add another line and the manager there kept telling us something different than others who spoke to at ATT. She first said it was 40$ to add an extra line then 80$. She just couldn’t explain anything and was getting frustrated with our questions and then started yelling. When we told her she was being unprofessional, she told us to get out the store and threatened to call the cops. we left the store and soon learned she had disconnected my husbands service fraudulently claiming that it was stolen. We have filed a complaint and will be contacting corporate and the district managers to make sure she is taken care of.
