Summer Moon — Restaurant in Leander

Been to this location twice now and couldnt put my finger on what I didnt like about this place. Today I decided to go to my regular spot, Scooters off 183, as it's closer and wanted to see if I could find what I wasnt a fan of. Realized today its the Summer Moon staff. Not just this location but all the locations in general that I have been to.

The staff is always miserable. You would think that they were forced into the job. They greet you when you first come in but then it's right to looking away or talking to the other staff about their night. When you order it's just a transaction. No "how are you?" or any other normal conversation you would normally get at a coffee shop. It's the start of my day and it starts with someone more grumpy than me.

Second the location feels... boring. Slap a brick wall in and hang some lights. Not much to write home about. It doesnt feel comfy so I dont usually stay long and it has that crowd that is half way through their coffee they ordered 4 hours ago as they are busy on their laptops and glaring at everyone walking in. Both times it's been like this. It's like getting a coffee at a WeWork.

The coffee itself is awesome. Absolutely fantastic and obviously the moon milk is amazing as well. We tried their fancy poptart which tasted like what poptart is trying to be. It's for sure a good pastry. But as good as the coffee is, my coffee spot is a place I go to everyday. It's what gets my day started. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—perfect whether you’re meeting a friend, working on your laptop, or just relaxing with a great cup of coffee. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the drinks are consistently excellent. The wood-fired coffee gives a unique flavor you don’t find anywhere else, and their specialty lattes are incredible. After hearing a lot about summer moon visited them when they recently opened in Leander. Loved my winter moon or half moon don’t exactly remember the name.
