Update 11/11 - Within the hour of posting this review, a retail operations & sales manager reached out. She was apologetic, professional, and was able to resolve my issue quickly and efficiently. While I should not have had to write a review in order to get what I needed, it’s clear that corporate does not take negative reviews lightly and that they value their customers. Thank you.
While I don't usually post negative reviews solely based on experience, I'm getting increasingly frustrated as the days go by, and it seems that the only way to receive a resolution is by posting a review.
I placed an order back in August for a desk and matching bookcase. My experience started out just fine, and the design consultant was very helpful and patient in answering my many questions. It has been since that I've been very frustrating with the lack of customer service.
It started off a bit rocky when I was told a date that I could expect my desk to be delivered. That date came around and I had yet to be contacted by the delivery service. Come to find out, the desk was never scheduled by the person at Arhaus (who helped with with my order) to be delivered to the warehouse. That posed the first delay. I never received an apology, nor did they address their wrongdoing. I did not complain, as I know mistakes happen, and ended up receiving the desk 2 weeks later. I'm very happy with it, and the quality/design is as expected.
I recently received the bookcase on 11/1. The bookcase that I received is not the bookcase that I thought I had ordered with the consultant - it's much larger and too big for my space. What I thought I had ordered was the 40", and I received the 60", not to mention that it came with several defects, one being a large scratch on the surface. I called the store the next day to discuss the issues, and the person I spoke with said that she would have my original design consultant call me back. It has since been 8 days without a call back. I have emailed the store multiple times and have called each day. Each time I call, nobody answers. I have also tried reaching out to the design consultant directly. I called customer service on 11/7, let them know what was going on, and they said that they would reach out to the store and someone should call me back in 48 hours. That has still not happened.
I'm incredibly frustrated with the lack of customer service post-order. At the very least, I should have gotten a call back from the store within 24 hours of my...
Read moreUPDATE: 7/30/22. After posting this review, I received a call from Sarah from corporate. She was very helpful, tracked down furniture and did whatever she did to get it on its way and sent. Everything arrived today. I promise, I am not a chronic complainer but what a mess! White glove service means they dump everything into your house and then leave. They do not unpack and assemble, meaning you're stuck with furniture that may be severely damaged - like the ottoman pictured below. It also means that you're stuck with a MOUNTAIN of trash to dispose of as well as furniture you have to assemble yourself. The undamaged furniture is unique and beautiful but the experience has been a nightmare. I still need a few pieces to complete the look of our new place. I love the look of Arhause designs but this process has been such a nightmare that I will look elsewhere for additional furniture. Now I'm stuck with a broken butler's ottoman and have to begin what I'm sure will be the arduous process of getting replaced.
READ ALL OF THESE NAGATIVE COMMENTS AND RUN AWAY FROM THIS STORE! Sure, it's s beautiful to wander through but don't even think about ordering anything. When we ordered over $10,000 worth of furniture on May 6th, we were assured that everything was in the warehouse and that it would be delivered in six weeks. That was almost ten weeks ago. When the first expected delivery date came and went with ZERO contact fron anyone affiliated wit Arhause. we began checking on it. Our sales person acted as though we were bothering him and told us to contact the delivery service because our order was no longer the store's responsibility. So we did. We've been told twice now by the delivery service that they have everything but the couch. They have no idea where the couch is so can't tell us when we will finally have our furniture. They say they wont deliver incomplete orders. We call the store - no answer. We call our sales associate - no answer. Once the sale is made, you are on your own so good luck. I so desperately wish id seen all of these negative reviews before ordering from this insanely negligent company. WHERE IS MY FURNITURE?? WHERE IS MY MONEY?? I...
Read moreI truly wanted to love ARHAUS for some reason so three years ago we purchased the 5 piece Beale Sectional with two ottomans in Nomad Snow. We have four kids and I asked the sales lady if the material could hold up to four little kids and a dog. She said that it would absolutely hold up and that the warranty would cover whatever I can't get out myself.
The couch honestly lasted about 2 years. After two years and multiple claims to the warranty company later I decided to reach out to ARHAUS directly. It took 6 months to get someone to actually call me. I had called the California store directly, where we bought the couch, left a handful of messages and never got a call back.
Once I had the chance to speak to a customer service agent they had let me know that once the couch leaves the warehouse they release all liability to the product! I was shocked that she said that to me because what company does that?! I asked, "So you don't stand behind your product, and have no resolutions for me?" She said, no that she didn't and that they aren't able to help me or address my concerns about the quality of the couch/materials.
We deiced to give the couch away because it was so bad, and went with the furniture company for our now couch that we truly truly love who does stand behind their products and has outstanding...
