I've been hearing about the Shake Shack from my friend who lives in the KC metro area so I decided to give it a spin and was definitely impressed with their Burgers. I pulled up and parked not knowing what to expect. I was hungrier than a hostage and ready for dinner. When I walked in I seen all these screens to my left but I ordered my meal the old school way via thru another human. I paid about 18 dollars I believe for the Bacon Cheeseburger with a no salt Crinkle Fry and large drink. I was able to get my own drink from their Soda fountain which serves Coke products only. I liked how everything seemed simple. I wish I could of got close up pictures of the wall Menu and will next time I'm there. It took about 8-10 mins to get my order so I knew it was going to be fresh. The buns they use for their Burgers are beyond tasty and delicious. Best bun ever and the Burger itself with the melted cheese and Applewood Bacon was givin me summertime vibes. The fries were Crispy and I never wanted them to end either. I ate my meal outdoors since it wasn't to cool yet and they have plenty of seating outside and for the inside, there's a dining area that has a long wall that splits the tables from the soda machine. It reminded me of a wall you'd see in a prison movie but this place had nothing but pleasant people and staff so I felt comfortable and safe there. They even had a waterbowl for your dog outside but I didn't let my Lil doggy partake cause you just never know but the water looked very clean and fresh. And what I also liked was the Two, yes two, Cornhole beanbag toss games you could play with a friend or date. I will definitely be going back up here soon just to get a burger. The only complaint I have is I wish the Burger was a little bigger but maybe I ordered the smaller one and didn't realize it. The Shake Shack is a definite Homerun and a serious contender in the Burger Wars. Their food speaks for itself and I will be trying a Shake next time to let you all know. Please don't overlook this place cause you won't be disappointed...

Upon arrival we were told they were at capacity but, they would text us when our table opened up - only one couple was ahead of us. As there was only one couple, we decided to sit tight and wait and we had some shopping to do at TCP. It's burgers, relatively quick, right? So we waited, watching other people be told the same or picking up their online orders.
Roughly after about 15 minutes in - we had seen several groups exit, a group of 2 showed up and was allowed entry - we assumed our phone would go off at any moment, or shortly thereafter.
At this point over 25 minutes had past (should have ordered online, right?). We watched in disbelief as no less than 3 groups of people enter without issue. I promptly exited our vehicle, and went up to inquire about our table, she confirmed our party, and yelled inside about seating for 2 - confirming a table is open. She then told us, we'll have to wait now as there were too many people placing orders - I inquired if they were placing orders for pickup or to dine-in. She confirmed dine-in. I asked why we weren't alerted by text as she had explained earlier and she simply brushed off, stating that they must have forgot. We promptly left, grabbed lunch elsewhere and shopped at Prairie Fire.
Don't dismiss people or their time - if you don't intend on using a program to keep track of guests, don't offer it, it sets the wrong expectation. At the very least apologize.
Perhaps check out some "competitors" in the food service industry. Several have figured out how to handle significantly more traffic. A dozen orders were picked up in this time - if this cripples your business during an off-peak hour, I would hate to see what the service-levels are like...
What an absolute joke. I came here because I had a deal from the T-Mobile Tuesdays app; fortunately, this microscopic burger was free. I still paid almost 5 bucks for the honor of having a small side of chewy crinkle cut fries to choke down along with the burger (I was asked to leave a tip for the kitchen staff, which concerns me about how much those poor people make). All of the food was mediocre at best (I've read the other reviews, so I'm waiting for a Shake Shack representative to show up and throw a bunch of marketing terms at me about how "good" their food is.) The lettuce on the burger was completely wilted (as can be seen in the picture I posted after I'd taken a couple bites), the sauce overpowered the flavor of everything else (same pic as before, you can see how much is just globbed onto the burger), and the patty was nothing to write home about. I've had fresher food from McDonald's.
This teeny tiny burger I am holding was supposed to be $6.09. If I had paid for this, this would be a one star review. I will not be returning, and I would recommend you find somewhere else to eat. Snack Shack on Santa Fe offers a much better burger and experience, from a family owned and run business. Please go support them and eat a real burger instead of blowing your money on this disappointing chain.
