I ordered a portable AC unit from this company on eBay. They sent me the wrong unit and told me they accidentally sent the correct unit to someone else. Ok, they made a mistake - fair enough. However, the unit they sent me didn’t even put out cold air. They drug things out, trying to get me to take a lesser unit with a partial refund, then saying they were going to send me an equivalent replacement, just to then say that the equivalent replacement was already sold. They also basically said that they were too busy to respond to me in a timely manner. They finally issued me a refund 5 days after I told them that I received the wrong unit and it wasn’t working. They seem to be understaffed and not willing to go out of their way to address customer issues quickly (which is even worse when the issue is one they caused to begin with). I also called the phone number listed here at one point, and the man who answered (Dennis) was quite abrasive when he answered, and not very professional (I’m assuming it must be his cell phone and I caught him at a bad time). Once he realized he was talking to a customer with an issue, he was a little more polite afterwards, but I still didn’t get my refund until the next day, even though it would’ve only taken 60 seconds to do so on PayPal. The only good things I can say are that they shipped the item to me very quickly (I’m 280 miles away), and they didn’t force me to ship the bad unit...
Read moreI've gone here several times and have been warmly welcomed by the staff. They are NOT scammers. People claiming they are scammers or shysters do not understand the nature of their business and need to realize a couple basic concepts about this establishment.
They are always very clear about what you are buying.
I personally love this place. It's a treasure trove of cool stuff. I recently bought a push mower that originally was priced for $240 new on amazon and I got it for over HALF OFF. It was only missing a couple bolts that held the push bar in place. I brought it home and pulled a couple compatible bolts out of my bucket-o-bolts, added gas and oil and it started right up like a champ! I just got a brand new GREAT brand-new mower crazy cheap!
I've bought several other things as well. Some electronics I purchased were unfortunately missing a couple insignificant parts, but that was my oversight before buying and not hard to find on the manufacturer's website. Even then, I still got...
Read moreThe "untouched" pallets are a total scam. I can tell you exactly how the process works. Amazon gets tons of items returned, usually due to some sort of malfunction, and they auction it off online to businesses in pallets WAY larger than what these people are selling.
These people then go through and separate the good stuff, wrap a small pallet of broken items with maybe one or two good ones, and call it untouched. They then sell all the actual good items separately.
The only proof you need is to go to one of their listings on Facebook marketplace, view the profile of whoever posted it "one of their employees" and what they have listed for sell. You'll notice a whole bunch of items that are exactly like the ones on the "untouched" pallets listed for five times the cost. When I messaged an employee and asked how they decide which items to sell separately since they're the same as the pallets but at way more profit, he got mad and said it didn't matter because they were completely sold out of everything and blocked me lol.
This is something these people who sell small pallets have been doing for years as a way to get rid of the junk. They prey on people thinking they're getting a good deal to unload all the bad merchandise. Real "untouched" pallets from Amazon on much larger and you have to have a business/resell license to...
