Rent-A-Center — Local services in Lebanon

When I first started renting from rent a center they were great however things changed very quickly. Carly who I believe is the store manager is extremely rude and lazy! I have every receipt from every payment I have made. My remaining balance does not match what I have paid In. When I contacted them to discuss the issue they were extremely rude and acted like it was such an inconvenience that I was calling and on top of that I talked to.two different employees and both of them told me two completely different things. I can't remember the guy I spoke to but his attitude was just as bad as Carlys. The chair I leased from them was broken I'm assuming it may have happened during delivery but I was told that I must have broke it after they dropped it off. They are so nice while your shopping until you sign the paperwork and they get some money out of you. I will never do business with this rent a center again. There is a girl that works there I believe her name was Amy or Annie but I will say she is the only employee that was respectful and seemed to really care about her customers. Although they speak kindly over the phone I was forced into setting up auto pay when it states this is an option in the actual agreement. I haven’t had issues making payments and also pay for benefits plus. The young lady told me she was the assistant manager and now all of a sudden it is required (based on what her GM says) for all customers to have auto pay set up. Again it DOES NOT state this in any agreement that I currently hold, it offers auto pay as an easy pay OPTION not a requirement. It would be nice just to be able to abide by the actual agreement we signed in addition to the grace period. They do not. Will not do business again after paying off the appliances I am renting.
