Hot Head Burritos — Restaurant in Lebanon

The two stars are for Mary but I cannot give 5 because of the service I received from another employee. I came in last week with my friend and It was my first visit. The girl who made my bowl was new. I know because Mary answered some of my questions when she did not know, which is not a problem. The problem was when I sat down and realized that I made my bowl bland. I went back to the counter to ask for sauce. The GM Loretta was on the computer. She told me, rudely I might add, that if I already got sauce, that it'd cost extra (without asking what I wanted or if there was a problem all she cared about was cost not satisfying a customer) I don't think I deserve special treatment, but if I don't like the food id like to compromise. Its hard to explain in text but I felt like I was bothersome to her. Anyways, Mary walked up at this point. Mary stood back listening. I told Loretta I hadnt got sauce because it was my first trip, being hesitant to try new foods, I declined the sauce. She said, "we have mild or wild on the third sign." and went back to the computer. She was short and honestly I was a bit confused. At first I thought, do I help myself? I wasn't sure if she was giving me sauce or not. Mary started pouring sauces into cups and asked if I liked mild or wild. Loretta interrupted her and said the sauces are indicated by the flame face. Mary smiled and gave me the two sauces she poured, she told me they were mild, and told me the names which I dont remeber. One was sweet and one was like a Mexican ranch. She told me to try them and come tell her which was my favorite. Unfortunately, when I went back to tell her I liked the creamy one, a guy told me Mary had quit. honestly don't blame her. If the GM is that short with customers, I can't imagine how she is with employees. Actually, I can imagine because of the reviews that mention Loretta at the bottom, and at the top, from mistreated employees. I was hesitant to write my review because I was going to commend Mary's good work, but since she doesn't work there I have no say in her good status with the company. I just hope I can help give inpute regarding customer service and much needed...

My boyfriend and I come here almost every Sunday either for lunch for dinner. Recently though, each time we have come, it’s just gone downhill. It never seems to be busy so I’m not sure why the floors are so dirty with fallen food, almost every table hasn’t been cleaned, and there are empty containers of food items that they don’t seem to bother to refill. Tonight, we asked for burritos, the guy takes the tortillas and puts them in bowls. Which I understand bc burritos can be messy and I’ve seen people do it before and I assumed at the end he would roll it and put it in the bowl. However, when he was finished putting everything in the “burrito”, he just folds over the edges so they fit inside the bowl and puts the lid on. So I have a bowl with a tortilla completely opened with everything in it. Yeah I tried my best rolling it myself, but why would I ask for a burrito and then try to roll it myself. In addition to portions, everything that might be more expensive per se, you got very little of. But if it was rice, you get two heaping spoon fulls. It is always empty in there when we go and if that’s how food is lazily being made, items being out, then I get why. I love hot head, more than chipotle, but it’s crazy the way it has just declined. I am so disgusted with this place! First of all when ordering my food I had to pay extra for the chicken and cheese because the manager gave portions that would not fill my child up! Then we go home to eat and my fiancé chips a tooth on the steak that he got! When I called she said sorry because of the snow we didn’t replace the steak all day! She was also cross contaminating all of the utensils used for the corn and tomatoes etc.. I will be calling the health department tomorrow morning and also contacting an attorney about the chipped tooth! Not to mention that they didn’t give us any sauce that we asked for I got a juice out of the cooler and it was hot I had to bring it home and get it cold before drinking it I always choose hot heads over chipotle but after finding out they don’t change out the food and allow it to sit all day long I will not go back! Makes me wonder how many people this place...
