When I first found Modest Molly's I would have given them a 5 star review after my first visit. However, my second visit went very different. On my second visit I went there for the Mother's Day sale and saw a woman carrying a dress around that I couldn't find on the racks. When I asked her where she found it she said it was a new stock and wouldn't be on sale for a couple more weeks. When I went to pay for my items that same day I noticed a woman next to me buying the very dress I had asked about. Hmmm. . .that's odd. . .I let it go and returned to the store a couple weeks later to buy the dress. The sales girl found the dress in the back and said she couldn't sell it to me for another 4 days still. I asked why I had seen another woman buying it a couple weeks ago and she told me that sometimes they sell items early to their friends. Hmmm. . .ok. . .I left and came back in 4 days to finally purchase the dress. I found the dress but they only had 2X and 3X sizes so I asked if they had other sizes in the back. The sales girl then told me the dress was sold out. What?! It's sold out?!! How is that possible?!! (I'm not blaming the sales girl it's not her fault, this is a management issue). I guess the management believes certain customers are more valuable than others and are willing to openly sell "unavailable" items to friends and family while the rest of the low life customers can wait and have the left overs. I have a store credit that I don't even want to redeem because of the bad taste I have in my mouth for Modest Molly's. Like I said, my first visit sold me on a 5 star review for this place, but since finding out that I'm not a valued customer it has changed my mind and my review to a 1...

We happened to be passing through Utah for a day just after the new year, I looked up their hours and they weren’t open the day we were available. :-( I REALLY don’t enjoy going shopping (it’s a self image issue I place on myself, I know I knowwwww) anyway, I reached out and messaged them late at night on Facebook and they were able to work out a time to meet me at the store! So my husband and two of my adult kids went with me, they picked things out and I tried things on. Lindsay was so great putting up with us and shared her ideas and was so patient, thank you Lindsay! I was thrilled! a beautiful storefront, large selection, and great prices! Read moreI was super pumped to find this place and excited to see the super cute clothes. The hours of operation were so limiting, that it took me several months to find a time to go check it out. No big deal. I went to the store and the folks working didn't acknowledge me, even though I was one of two customers in the store. No big deal, either; I can shop on my own. I picked up two shirts that I liked, and they seemed a bit pricey for what they were, but I had been so pumped to go here that I was super willing to buy! When I got home, I found that one of the shirts had a hole in it. At that point in the day, they were already closed. I just took it as a loss because I wouldn't be able to get back to the store in the return window because of their hours. I'm super skeptical about the quality of their clothes, now. I hope the hours expand and the quality issue...
