We recently visited this hibachi grill and had a mostly positive experience. The food was delicious — flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The chef did a great job with both the meal and the hibachi performance. The waitress was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The restaurant was fairly empty, which made for a quiet, relaxed dining experience — a nice change from the usual busy dinner rush. However, the pricing was the biggest downside. For a family of four, we ended up paying $161 ($40 per plate). Just a few weeks earlier, we visited another hibachi grill and spent only $110 for a very similar meal. On top of that: We requested noodles instead of steamed rice for each plate, which was an extra $3 per person. There were two different totals at checkout: one for cash and one for non-cash payments (credit/debit), with the non-cash total being $6.21 more. That felt a bit surprising and wasn't clearly explained up front. While the food and service were great, the extra fees and higher overall cost left us feeling like the value didn't quite match the price tag. Worth a visit if you're in the mood for hibachi, but be prepared for the extras to add up quickly.

OVERVIEW - 4.2 I now have been here a couple of times after passing by the Urgent Care (which is next door). My understanding is that this sushi place has been through a few different owners and managers, and that they had started over once again a few months ago. I don't know if that is an indication of anything. LOCATION - 5 Pretty easily seen from a moving vehicle as it is along Main Street and the corner of the block. PRICE - 3 The price is probably my only complaint I have about this place. I had been purchasing their signature sushi's just to find out they do have cheaper sushi rolls, and the quality does indeed diminish with the price. PRODUCT/SERVICE - 4 The signature sushi rolls are actually pretty good (well, the first time I had it was, amazing). I would suggest the honeymooners sushi roll. POINTERS/PERKS - 4 I would suggest getting it to go. That way you can avoid the tip. I also noticed that the guy making the sushi wasn't oriental. (Not that big of a deal, but I would think authentic sushi would be made by someone oriental). EMPLOYEES - 5 Both times we've been served the waiters have been amazing. Definitely a friendly service.

If you want sushi, go somewhere else. I imagine the tepanyaki is great, but I wasn't ready to dine in when the place was so crowded. The fish didn't taste very fresh and just seemed sort of bland. The price of the sushi was similar to nicer places, but the quality couldn't match. When it comes to calamari I normally prefer Italian style because the Asian style dipping sauce doesn't really do it for me. However I decided to try it here because their menu showed they had a marinara looking sauce to go with it and I was intrigued. Turned out the picture they used online must have been scalped from somewhere because the calamari they actually served was nothing like it. Totally different sauce and a different fry style (tempura style, as you'd guess, with the classic sweet Asian dipping sauce). The best part of the meal was the fried udon. Honestly nothing wrong with it. Didn't blow my mind, but it was still good. I don't think I'll be going back.

I've honestly never been treated so badly in my life as I was treated at this restaurant. Our server was absurdly rude and mean spirited. She would ask the table if they needed drinks, and when I would say i needed a refill as well, she would turn her back to me and walk away. When i asked for a knife to cut my daughter's chicken with, she tossed it at me roughly without saying a word. When I finally asked if I had done anything to offend her, she let me know that she disagreed with the way I had tried to get her attention over the din of noise and commotion going on. So, of course, I profusely apologized and asked her forgiveness, but she flat out refused my apology and continued treating me worse than garbage, in front of my wife and kids. Again, I have never been treated so inhumanely or unjustly in my life, even when i was working in the service industry myself, and especially not as a paying customer. In spite of our server's aggressive hostility towards us, we never once complained and we were nothing but polite. However, in the last few minutes she must have flat out refused to serve us anymore (again, in spite of us being overly polite and magnanimous, and never complaining once), so the manager took over and instead of showing even a hint of embarrassment, he had the gall to tell me he could see her side too. I was dumbfounded. I have never experienced such hostile cruelty from someone i am going above and beyond to please, and who i am paying for the pleasure.

The food was decent and we really enjoyed the chef, but how can you eat at a restaurant where you have to live in fear of offending the servers or else they will terrorize your table?...

It's alright, very pricey. Was here years ago when it was popping and now people don't come anymore, there is a couple reasons why. I don't think the price is justifiable, it's mostly the experience, the hibachi chefs I assume get the gratuity as you can see in your receipt, but on top of that they do an extra charge if you use a card so it's cheaper with cash (businesses seem to be doing that a lot if you use plastic).

I think for the price of the food, I can go to Panda that taste just as good if not better for cheap. I am disappointed on the gratuity as I gave my server more money than the actual hibachi chef and that's crazy to me.

Also the establishment is dirty everything needs a serious overhaul, all the ornaments decorations are dirty there are cobwebs, dust, toilets don't look too clean. The sinks lever has been used so many times that its color is being worn down, the seats are breaking, the grills are worn and dirty. I'm really surprised I didn't get sick from anything. What I'm saying is that if this place wants to survive (which is showing signs of dying) they need to complete remodel and maybe even consider cutting cost like getting rid of the hibachi style, I don't think people want to come here anymore, I think there are other places that is better and it's not a cool thing anymore.

Just giving my advice, only because my parents used to own a business at one point and I know the struggle....

Bad service tonight. We waited over 45 min for a table which I was fine with. Although, I had to talk my hungry husband into waiting and ended up regretting that decision. We have been going to this place for years and had good service so I figured it would be fine. When they finally sat the 5 of us they put us in the back all scrunched with a cold fan above us. I was freezing with the hot grill on. I ordered on the grill menu and my husband got sushi and he didn’t get his sushi until I had already finished my food and they take a while to prepare and make it. I couldn’t believe it! There were No updates until I asked about it. He was starving and my kids didn’t get there sushi until we asked the manager. It was frustrating to see people come and go and they didn’t seem to care how long we were waiting and treated. People were coming in getting sushi to go way before we got ours. It ended up being so stressful and then got a bill for over a $130 with that service it was horrible. My husband had to hurry and eat by the time it came we were ready to leave. My food tasted good and once we got the sushi it was fine. It took us almost 3 hours to sit and eat. I was really disappointed it wasn’t enjoyable. I used to recommend this place but they have gone down hill. We will be finding a new...
