Bluebird Atelier — Local services in Lewisburg

I was really excited about this class, but a few minutes into it, I was ready to just go home. This was not a beginner course, at all. I thought maybe I was the only one frustrated, but I soon learned that almost the entire class was just as frustrated as me.

The video on the projector was hard to see, so it was hard to get started. The instructor did walk around, but instead of walking you through how to do it, she did it herself.

The class size was way too big.

I didn’t pay for the class, my friend did, but I felt bad that she had wasted her money. After an hour and a half, we were no further into learning, than when we first started. They let us take our yarn, and supplies home, but what good is that, when no one felt confident in what they were doing.

I feel like it was a waste of money, time, and I still don’t know how to crochet. What a disappointment.

It was their first time doing this class, and I wish them the best on their next, but I won’t come back for another...

We absolutely love Bluebird Atelier! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and joy radiating from the staff. My son is currently taking Spanish classes here, and it’s been such a beautiful experience for him. The team is incredibly kind, nurturing, and truly dedicated to each child’s growth—not just academically, but emotionally and creatively as well.

It’s clear that they’ve created a space where kids feel safe, supported, and genuinely loved. My son looks forward to every class, and I’m constantly amazed by how much he’s learning while also having fun. It’s rare to find a place that combines education with such a strong sense of care and encouragement. We feel so lucky to be part of this...

Bluebird is a magical place! Our children attended the preschool program for a time, have taken classes there, and my husband and I have enjoyed an adult craft time. All of the educators have been creative, patient, and well-equipped to handle children with a variety of different personalities (and energy levels!). Jessi has cultivated a comfortable, supportive, and loving atmosphere where my kids learn and leave feeling more confident in their abilities.
