Food is great. If only rating for food, I will rate five stars for sure. Just the service is the reason why I only rate as four stars. They didn’t do anything wrong but I don’t feel welcome. Also, my partner asked for refill the ice tea but nothing happened. Not so sure if it’s because the servant is too busy. We chose the restaurant because of the architecture itself. I really like some corners.

The "brass" (as it is called in local circles) is a fashionably hip place that uncharacteristically finds itself in familiar in Lewisburg, PA. Their cocktails are great and they host some cool events - so check their calendar. I'd recommend it to people visiting Lewisburg. They have a patio that looks promising for the Summer. I'm looking forward to checking that out.

I want to like this restaurant. I’m going to start with the positives. The ambiance and surroundings (Dining Room, Bar, & Outside) are great. The bar definitely serves high quality cocktails along with a good selection of beer. Comparatively, the cost is a bit higher but it’s worth it. They are not stingy with the alcohol in your cocktail. They frequently have live music which is a bonus. What was unexpected was the cost of four extra olives. My friend ordered two Martinis with extra olives. She was charged $2.00 twice for those olives. There wasn’t anything on the menu about this extra charge. Now for the food. Everything currently is a la carte. They used to serve a basket of assorted bread and a dinner salad gratis if you were eating dinner. We ordered the Fall Bread Basket for $8.00. There were four mini loafs of sweet bread (like banana bread but more savory) in the basket. The equivalent of 4 largish rolls. My friend ordered a “Small Plate” of goat cheese ravioli which was fine. I decided to splurge. I ordered the seared scallops entree for $31.00. The scallops came on the same sized plate as the “small plates”. There were three scallops (slightly bigger than a quarter) about two tablespoons of butternut squash, and no broccoli. They tasted good (4 out of 5)but $10.00 for a scallop? It would have to taste better and have a slightly better texture to pay that much. Another item both of us were not happy to see was an automatic 20% gratuity if you split your check. We weren’t planning on doing that but it did turn us off. There were a few other issues but the main one is that we felt as if they were trying to squeeze every last penny from us.

Wow! I just read the response from the owner. I was being polite but I guess I should mention the other things that occurred since apparently I wasn’t able to “appreciate” their food and service. When my friend and I walked in, the band was done playing, so that addresses the “cover charge” they don’t charge silliness. We were also seated and waiting for service when another two guests arrived. We didn’t have the same waitress and they were the only other customers there eating dinner. Their order was taken quickly. We were still waiting for our waitress to take our order when the other party had their drinks. In terms of the quality of the food, to be completely honest, I have had better food and service from a Vegan Food Truck in Miami. The atmosphere was nice too. I most certainly can recognize and appreciate excellent service and food. In fact, when it’s received, I will tip beyond 20% and leave a complementary review. The one item I received for free was a condescending response. Yes, Lewisburg is located in a rural area but that doesn’t mean it’s residents are a bunch of troglodytes who don’t know how they should be treated in an “upscale” restaurant who claims to have high quality food. Some of us do leave Union County from...

We were greeted on time for our reservation. The restaurant was very empty for a Sat night 6pm. I didn't see a coatroom so we hung coats on back of chairs. Drink menu was a taped up brown manilla folder that looked well used. We had bourbon drink and it came with a cup of tiny ice cubes, surprised it wasn't 1 big rock. Stone cold killer had a rock & good. Grilled romaine medge salad and shaved brussel sprouts salads were very good in flavor and portion. Grill Pork Chop and Braised Short Rib entrees arrived approx 2/3 through our salads. Wow, way early I remarked to server. Server left our entrees on the table and apologized for arrival, yet did not offer to keep warm as we finished appetizers. When 25% of my meal remained server verbally presented dessert menu. Again, early. Can I finish without being rushed? The restaurant is empty! At meal's end we were presented with a plastic tray for the bill which includes a note that CC's incur 3% fee. (Not a...

I have been here once and my wife has been here a number of times. My experience was not the best. The service was sub par, it took so long to be seated and even longer for us to even order drinks. The menu was good prices were high but expected when going here. Drinks were also made well and they have a knowledgeable bar tender. I would like to give a rating of 3.5 but had to choose 3 or 4. Overall, the food should have been better for the price, some things were amazing others were so so. In my opinion there is better food in other towns and at a lower cost.

Edit: I had to come back and edit this review... I have been back two more times and sat in the bar area. The atmosphere is sooo much better and service was much faster. I ordered the steak frites ...... Amazing.... I would...
