Installations of replacement range and Microwave went smoothly this past fall. Dishwasher required extra expense of a plumber. ok. But we paid extra for installation of the microwave, and it has outside air blowing into kitchen and ice inside the oven on freezing days. Never had this with the old built in microwave which was working fine. Called numerous times to have someone look at it. No return calls. Finally, finally my husband got to speak to Phil, and he said he would drop by when in the area. He NEVER CAME and never called. Finally went to the store. He was there. Phil simply laughed at us the entire visit and did not believe us that the microwave could possibly have a poor fit. Just always laughing (why?). Extremely rude. Finally he agreed to make an appointment. Since it is important, my husband cancelled his doctor appointment but I kept mine. Phil again NEVER SHOWED UP and never called back when we called him that day. Nor did he ever call. And husband cannot get another doctor appt for a month. We wanted to patronize a local business evwn though Costco would have been cheaper because they included installation and delivery. Phil didn't believe that either, (and he laughed) until I showed him on the website. This man, the owner, is extremely rude. So we have never had servicing on this installation, and we will have to hire someone else to deal with the air leak. This man is not nice to his customers. What a way to...
Read moreI hardly ever write a negative review but we have had a terrible go with our Speed Queen dryer. We bought it from Stamms and it stopped heating within a year. It took a good three weeks before someone could stop out to look at it. It was determined to be the coil. They had to order it because it was under warranty. I don't know why they don't just keep coils at the store. After another week, someone came out and fixed it within five minutes. Fast forward to next year and our dryer stopped heating again. This time it only took about two weeks for someone to come out and same thing happened. This time, it was the owner, who was pleasant but he had to come back and bring us another coil. Now, here we are today and our dryer stopped working a third time. This time, it will not run at all. I called for repair number 3. I have been waiting two weeks for a return call on when someone can come out. We are a family of four and running to the laundry mat every other day to pay, to dry our clothes has not been fun. Read moreI called Stamms last week about purchasing a dishwasher and getting it installed. Phil asked me to send him photos of what I had/ what needed done. He said they could make it work. He said he'd call me back this past Friday to verify everything. We had an appointment set up for Tuesday for him to come. He said he needed to talk to his installer. He never called me back and never replied to my texts. I called on Friday and spoke to a woman. She said they were busy and to expect a call on Saturday. No call on Saturday. Closed Sunday and Memorial day. We changed our work schedules around so someone would be home for the appointment at 8am. No one showed up, he wouldn't answer my calls and read my texts and never replied. The job entailed adding a water supply line and he said he'd charge a little more. No problem on my end.
