I've been trying to get a spacer or some type of part put onto my wedding band to make it just slightly smaller and a better snug fit on my finger. I purchased a ring made of damascus steel and rose gold online. I was rudely excused by several other local jewelry stores when I asked them if they could help me. They offered no solution except returning the ring I had already had custom made and advising me to purchase through their own store. I went to Rick's and within about 4 minutes of being in the store they had already added the piece I needed to my ring and offered it for a more than fair price. This is the mark of a true professional. Not only was I treated well, but they were even able to change the wedding band fit to my liking in minutes. I am exceptionally impressed with the quality of the work and the speed they did it in! I will definitely to returning to Rick's for any other jewelry needs. So very happy we were referred to Rick by a friend! My mother gave me her old engagement ring and with our wedding coming up in October, my fiancé and I wanted to do something special with it. We brought the ring in and Rick put the center stone in a beautiful basket setting on a chain for a Valentines gift from my future hubby. The original ring had two marquise stones and six round stones that I thought would be wonderful to have placed on a wedding band for myself. Rick worked with me over the course of a few weeks to get my vision for the ring, and what he designed and made was absolutely stunning. It matches perfectly with the engagement ring! Beyond the stunning custom-designed jewelry, the customer service is always fantastic at Ricks. The associates are polite and friendly. Rick even followed up himself after we picked up the ring to make sure we were pleased with the end result since he was not in when we picked it up. So very satisfied with our experience and will be coming back to Rick for all our future...

The ring I received is beautiful but the overall experience left me disappointed. We bought the engagement ring which was actually part of a designed set but no one mentioned that. Purchased only the engagement ring. Now I am having trouble finding a band that fits or looks right with it and the whole situation feels like it could have been avoided with guidance and a single sentence from a salesperson.

Also the ring would be sized to fit upon delivery and it did not, it was left at the default size (way too large). We had to come back for re-sizing & were told resizing was free so I tried sizing down slowly to be safe only to learn afterward that only the first resize is free and it costs thirty five dollars (?) after that. That was not clearly explained up front and it made me feel misled.

For such a meaningful purchase I expect more thoughtful and transparent service. I would recommend asking very specific questions here because they will not necessarily offer important information...
