Poor lighting, bad prices and a bad selection of games to select from. This shop wouldn't be too bad if the prices were around 30% cheaper. Most of the stuff they were selling is much cheaper online and you don't have to deal with the funky smell of the store when using Ebay.
Better pricing and lighting would go a long way.
Edit: You can read the response below to get an idea of what kind of shop this is. Sad to see someone try to weaponize one of my hobbies to attack people online as opposed to understanding criticism and trying to make their business better.
Edit 2: It seems the owner continues to update their response and attack against me. Not really sure what their deal is, but it's incredibly unprofessional. I would recommend checking out Half Price Books, CM Games, D20 Hobbies, Gamestop and even Game X Change for your gaming needs. It is quite frankly embarrassing to see the owner of a gaming store act like this.
Edit 3: This dude is off his rocker or something. No idea what's going on. I included a photo of an earlier response that I passed around to friends and family for a good laugh.
If anything, avoid this place due to the owner being unprofessional and attacking people who disagree with them. The entire point of this review was to better the business in an attempt to keep yet another game store around. I love game stores more than I should and have spent more time shopping and working in them than I probably should have. This is a bad store. Not because of its prices, its stock or the actual interior. It's because the owner is unable to comprehend constructive criticism and would rather bully those who are unhappy with their experience.
And to the owner, please speak a little more professionally online. It's 2019. Use proper punctuation and grammar. Or ya know. Just don't respond to these reviews in such an overtly aggressive manner that causes your business to look even...

In response to the owner's response... No, actually, the day in question you were the only worker and there was some guy hanging about. You were indeed talkative and happy and eager to be of service. Your tail wagging isn't in question in my initial review, your knowledge of the product you sell is. Three times I've been to your place, twice it was two guys working. On those two occasions that other guy is the one who talked about intricacies of the games I bought whilst you sir had a blank stare and barely managed to nod your head and mutter uh-huh. Deflecting my review by calling me out as a liar with an ulterior motive and insinuating that your former employee was less than honest seems juvenile. I was deliberately lighthearted in my original review and more than fair by tacking on the low prices quip. The naked truth is that you can be smiled at for a lowered price. You may know Mario but you...
Read moreRetro Rewind is simply the only place I will buy video games from, from now on. Other establishments in the areaâs staff are terribly rude but worse than that, donât know anything about video games. It is a massively disconnected business model, that has no place in this community, Game King. Retro Rewind however is a store made by a gamer, for gamersin response to this very disconnect. Since Christmas last year theyâve aimed to capture the hearts, and a couple of bucks, of gamers in our local community and it is just terribly fun there. You really can feel the owners passion and love not only for the games he sells but the community who plays them. Itâs what a hole in the wall game store should be. Every game on the wall is a legacy to gaming and is arranged in a way that walking in to the store is walking not back in time but in to a museum that sells the art on the wall. There is even talks of hosting game nights and trade exchanges that I canât wait to be a part of in the future! Retro Rewind has my heart, my wallet, and all the games old and new that I will buy...
