Genesis Coffee House & Eatery — Restaurant in Lexington

Came by this coffee house by way of the Soul Fest week. Got coffee and it was amazing. Service was too. Came in today around 11a and ordered coffee, Chai latte, bacon egg and cheese croissant and chicken salad sandwich. The food was good. The drinks were another thing. My wife's tea was made into a coffee instead. She doesn't drink coffee. My coffee was forgotten about completely. They did make my coffee after we reminded them, but it was mediocre at best. We didn't know the tea was made incorrectly until we left. Called and the young girl at the register was.just like, sorry. So.....the lesson here is that the experience you receive will vary based on who's working that day....

I had the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. Everything was cooked to perfection. The bacon was very tasty and uh, crispy but chewy. Not a super large sandwich, but enough to fill you up. I also ordered a side of fried green tomatoes. Nice size portion, every tomato was fried to perfection. No burn spots anywhere cooked perfectly seasoned, just right, plenty of flavor but not overpowering. I highly recommend trying this place out. If you're in the area, if not Make the effort to pay them a visit. The food is exquisite. Service was very friendly and order was up fast....

Diamond 💎 In The Rough!!! I just so happened to stumble across this small very personalable eatery. 1st and foremost I just love the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The lady who took my order was extremely nice and was patient as looked at the menu and ordered my food. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant with seasoned potatoes. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. The potatoes was seasoned to perfection and tender. The croissantwas great as well. This is definitely a nice little brunch/lunch spot.
