Jessie, a store associate followed me to the restroom and was very rude. I had just gotten to the store and had no merchandise in my hand, no buggy, nothing. But due to me being an African American woman, felt the need to follow me all the way to the door of the restroom. You donât treat black customers this way. I spend hundreds of dollars with this location all the time and have never felt so disrespected in my life. She does not need to work here if she doesnât know how to treat people of all colors and ethnicities. I then shopped a little, went to try on a blouse & two bras, the associate at the dressing room also had a terrible attitude and was extremely abrasive. I went to checkout, the sound rang for me to approach the register, the mixed young man at the register walked off and didnât return for another 5 minutes, with his light still on. I had to wait on another associate, she even asked management where did he go off too like that with a customer on front of him. She was ringing up customers alone once he walked off, with a line full of customers. If I didnât really need the two items I purchased for a flight tomorrow, I wouldâve left the buggy and not purchased ANYTHING. This location needs some training on professionalism and how to not racially profile shoppers. I spend way too much money with this store to be treated so poorly. Something needs to be done, I will be personally calling to speak with someone else about this encounter and will report it to the Better...
Read moreHad a terrible experience today with a fairly rude employee. I had waited patiently at the perfume counter for assistance, despite having had to press the button a few times after being ignored for quite a while. When the gal finally comes over there, not only is she overly curt, but sheâs also rather rude and decided to walk off with my perfume in hand (after very rudely telling me that she had to hold onto it. I understand theft prevention, but she didnât have to be rude or look me up and down as though I were a thief) to go talk to someone else, despite telling her it was literally the only thing I was in the store for. The worst part is I think sheâs some sort of manager, and Iâm fairly certain that the person she went to speak to was a family member judging by their interaction. I was ignored waiting for assistance, blatantly ignored while attempting to check out my purchase and I ultimately gave up and left the store without purchasing my perfume. Iâm going to pay a little more at Ulta for better service, but at least I wonât be treated as I was at this store. This was a reminder as to why I donât shop in Lexington typically. My hometown looks nothing as it did even 20 years ago, much less growing up. Itâs rude, cold and too busy to care about people. This store has taken after the townâs example and it makes me sad. I miss the days of getting our special occasion things at Sessions, everyone knowing everyoneâs namesâŚ.and when customer service mattered. I wonât be...
Read moreI only come here once in and while but last night I came in for a dress for my daughterâs dance. One lady was checking out in front of me and I was next. Nobody was behind me. Then the cashier and customer was yelling and having an altercation in front of me. It was handled so poorly. I guess the customer thought the cashier had an attitude and slammed her item in a bag and snatched something from the mother of the customer. They argued for a good 4 or 5 minutes. The cashier handled it wrong whether the customer was right or wrong. The customer was also told to go to the other cashier because things escalated and she told them no that she will not leave that cashier station that a cashier needed to come to that station and they sat there bickering and the cashier blatantly said âI donât need this job.â Finally a store manager came to the cashier station to finish ringing her up. The said cashier that had the altercation said âyou can drop that baby and catch these hands outside of work.â That to me was enough for me. I finally got another cashier to ring me up. That was awful and I had my kids with me to witness how ugly people can be. They donât need to see that. The cashier and the customer handled it very wrong. Not a good experience. No apology or anything the whole time m. Just bickering constantly and escalating the situation. People out here need a job and yâall hiring just...
