In my 37 years, I have been fortunate to dine at some of the best restaurants literally in the world; Michelin three and two stars, James Beard-awarfed chefs' tables, etc. However, I have perhaps not encountered a more friendly group of service workers than those who are employed at this Waffle House. I started going there just on a random whim after the local IHOP had a long wait. Though since, my three children and I have been Sunday morning regulars for nearly the last year (we normally eat very healthy, but all things are good in moderation).
Quality food has almost become an afterthought because the people and service are so exceptional, it is indeed always very consistent and very good. The servers always take the time to put chocolate chips on my children's whipped cream in their hot chocolate and my hash browns are always cooked a little bit crispier than normal for me, just as I like. The staff knows our names and they know what we eat! I have honestly yet to have a poorly prepared meal there and for what it is, the food quality is exceptional, so hats off to the cooks. They really do a great job.
An absolutely lovely and wonderful woman named Courtney is our regular server. Over the last year we have gotten to know her quite well and I can't say that there are many people who have impressed me quite as much as her. She is a single mom with two young children who works full-time and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing full-time as well. I don't know how she does it - Courtney is always cheerful, always right on time with Incredible service and best of all, she has really become a family friend who genuinely cares about us as we do her. I really can't say enough good things about this woman and the attitude that she consistently brings to her work and the world on a daily basis. If we had more people like this on Earth, the world would be a better place. Courtney is truly a gem of a person.
Not surprisingly, the rest of the team is always just as pleasant and it really does feel good to be welcomed by friendly faces even in a little place such as this. My children love it, I love it and while a small thing, it's made us happier as a family to have this a little tradition. Everyone looks forward to Sunday mornings because they're always a happy time where we can have fun and realax - and that is in no small part due to the pleasantness and friendliness of this WH team.
Like all things in life, experiences are what you make of them. I believe that anyone who has a good attitude and a positive mindset will have a wonderful meal and experience here. If you go in looking for problems or to make complaints then you'll undoubtedly just make yourself unhappy somehow. So, put a smile on your face before you go - I guarantee you'll receive...

Myself, my child, and her father decided to stop at this location for dinner tonight...my daughter and I walked in first and the entire staff turned to watch ys walk from the door to the table...we sat down and the waitress didn't greet us or anything...she placed the napkins and utensils on our table all while continuing to hold a conversation with one of the other staff...I told her we had a third person coming and she says "oh...guess so..." it wasn't so m7ch what she said the the distain that she said it with as if I was being rude for interupting her conversation...she brings more silverware and asked us for our drink order...she brings the drinks and asked if we were going to wait for the third person, I said yes and she promptly walked away...another couple (young white guy and youbg white girl) walked in and before they even passed threw the thresh hold the entire staff greeted them with an excited and enthusiastic "HI WELCOME TO WAFFLE HOUSE!" one of the staff even asked if they needed help finding a table...I didn't pay it much attention...maybe they just weren't paying that mych attention when my daughter and I came in...then my daughter's father came in and they all just stared at him saying absolutely nothing, just watching him walk from the door over to our table...then a whaiye make came in behind him and they all gave him cheery Hellos and welcomes...I told my party I didn't want to eat there...I asked the waitress how much the two drinks were she said don't worry about it...I put $3 on the table and we walked out...as we walked out another white family came up the walk way...I was curious as to how they wete going ro be greeted so I walked up to the door behind them and of courae they were greeted the same way...we waited in my car and saw a black couple walking up the walk way...and just like with the white family I walked up behind them to the door and they weren't greeted and just watched as they walked to a table...Now I don't know exactly what you would like to call this but perso ally I see it as blatant and obvious bigotry...and I will NEVER eat here again...I will also recommend that no one eat here no matter what your race is...this staff needs to learn a lot about customer service and the fact that they work for a company that makes its money off of all people and not just the one customers...hopefully someone from the management team or even the franchise owner will see this and train their staff on how to treat people fairly and equally... Today is Saturday July 16, 2016 and we arrived there at...
Read moreWhat kinda waffle house is this? I was confused when I walked in the door as this location was clean and all the lights where working. They had an employee at the door to open it and find me and my girlfriend a seat. I felt safe and warm and welcomed I didn't have the fear of being involved in a robbery, the tables where not sticky. As I continued to observe and reveille in this restaurant I was shocked that I never had to chase down a waitress to get a refill in fact before I left our waitress had lined up two complementary to go cups. As I scanned the restaurant fearing that I had stumbled I to a parallel universe I overheard another waitress talking to other guests and she had their orders memorized as they where regulars. I knew at this point in time that I have not come to a normal waffle house as I have routinely eaten breakfast at my local Waffle house and no one has veer remembered my name nor dare I say even attempted to recall my order.
Within 5 minutes of ordering my food came out hot and steaming. I was visibly shocked. I never had my food come out hot, lukewarm? Yes. Hot never, and within just a few moments of ordering. To make matters even worse my food was not over salted which was unfortunate because I had aggressively hydrated prior to my arrival to offset the salt. My sweet tea did not taste like dish water. In all my years of going to waffle house I never knew that the waffles have the Waffle house logo stamped into them. I'm not sure how they did it but my food tasted amazing and the cook wasn't outside smoking when I got there. No fights broke out, the cops never showed up, no one was smoking the devils lettuce in the bathroom, and there certainly were not drunken sing alongs in the back booth. All in all it was a strange experience.
This Waffle house is not a Waffle house, it's a Chick Fil A in disguise. This place felt like I had to have a 750 credit score to dine here.
In all honesty everyword here is true. This was the cleanest nicest most amazing waffle house experience I have ever had after traveling around the country and sampling the fine waffle house dining East of the Mississippi. I look forward for my travels to bring me back here again. This location is not a Waffle house it is most definitely a...
