Fourteen Mile Tap House — Restaurant in Lexington

We were recommended here by some local breweries. We stopped by, and the had a beer from Czech republic, same as when we traveled. It was really special to us because it reminded us of one of our first vacations to Germany and drinking that beer out of the same glass. We ordered the beer, and asked if we could buy the glasses. One bartender said yes, they're like 3 or 4 bucks, so I put the glass in my pocket, assuming they would add the glass to by bill. We ordered food, and they asked about the missing glass. Later on, another guy came by and said the glasses were $100 each. We decided it wasn't worth it, and put the glass back on the bar. A few minutes later, the cops showed up on report of theft, most likely us. The officer said it was somebody else, but when my girlfriend went back in, they came out saying we weren't welcome...

My wife and I were looking for a place with a patio for lunch so we stopped here to try since we'd never been. It's a nice looking place with lots of seating room inside and out. I was disappointed with the menu; no meals, burgers or sandwiches, only a number appetizers and a couple of desert options. It's operated like a combination convenient store and McDonald's, except you can drink on the premises. There is a bartender, but if you're not drinking draft beer, you get your selection from a cooler on the back wall yourself and take it to the counter to pay. If you're eating, you order your appetizer from the counter and then go pick it up from the counter. Actually, if they reversed the taps around like soda fountains and added a self-checkout register, there would be no need for a bartender at all. At least the...

First time and not impressed. Wings were very good, not overcooked but just right. Outside of that the Bartender was not friendly and made us feel as we were an inconvenience. She seems friendly to others around us but I guess since we were not regulars she did not waste time with us. Seems she should have She poured tea from a Milo’s jug that u get from the grocery store.
