The employees are incredible! They're always kind and helpful and deserve a large raise.
However, the new catch-22 clothing policy is egregious for any store.
They just got rid of the fitting rooms, so you can only try stuff on if you're confident enough to do it on the floorā So you have to buy things that you're not sure will fit. Then they don't even do returns, only exchanges! So you have to keep coming back with your non-fitting clothing until you find something to exchange it for, and THEN the policy doesn't even give you the customary 30 days to bring it back to exchange, you only get 14!
It's a jab at every turn! I've been recycling the same 20$ for over a month, exchanging things trying to find something that fits when I can only get 3 or 4 things at a time unless I want to permanently sink more money. I'd spend way more money here if I could buy all the things I wanted, instead of hmming and haaing over whether which shirt is more likely to fit because I'm never gonna get my extra 10$ back if I buy both.
I know no one at corporate will listen because I'm definitely not the first, or even the 100th person to say this, but please give us something, either fitting rooms or returns. I have been shopping at savers for many years but I think my time here is coming to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Today's manager ( a tall young man with long hair) was very rude. He didn't care to my issue and didn't care to come to a resolution. I bought a dress last week that's didn't fit. I decided to go today to exchange it for something else. When I went to check out I had bought the $8 dollar dress and wasn't being given the exchange for my previous buy. Upon looking at the receipt I see that I was being charged for the dress I had brought from home instead of having an exchange in it place. I was being charged for the same dress TWICE!! The employee doing my checkout didn't know what she was doing and had to get a manager to do my check out. It was $8 and cents for my buy and I gave a $20 bill. I was supposed to have received $10+ back but instead got back $2. When I confronted the manager on why I was being charged for the same dress TWICE he proceeded to say that the transaction was completed and that they didn't give refunds. I said I didn't get my exchange for the dress so I would just be taking it back home since I had already purchased it last week. Still charged twice for it and didn't get my my money back. There was no winning with him. I'm never going back to this store. I had heard bad stories about the place and finally confirmed it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've been coming here for several months now... Thrifting is a hobby of mine and I will come here just for the experience but things are really overpriced here. We've found some okay deals here which I'm thankful for but I don't even bother looking at the clothes because I can get clothes cheaper at Walmart, Old Navy or Target (kids clothes specifically, but also some of the women's and mens too)
The only section we find to be reasonably priced is the furniture section so that's the main reason we come here is to see what furniture they have. However, today we saw a table priced at $499... I hope that was an error because it feels like robbery. The whole reason these kind of stores existed to begin with was to help lower income families.
Many items in the homewares section is ridiculously overpriced too. Mason jars for $3 upwards when I can get them from Walmart of dollar tree for significantly less. They also increased their book price from $1.29 to $1.79.
For these reasons we prefer to shop elsewhere. The Hope Thrift Store in Liberty is much better with reasonable prices. Please fix your prices to reflect the true value of the products. These stores make money from donations so there's absolutely no need to keep hiking...
