When I went in and bought this bed I had a fine experience. My father suffers from migraines so having an adjustable bed really helps with that. We picked out a very nice set and spent over $5000 on the set up. The adjustable base stopped working so I went in to talk with someone in the store about it. When I went in the store I was approached by a worker who was very nice and told me I had to do the warranty online and gave me the information to do so. Then I was approached by the manager. (I believe his name is Josh?) I explained my situation about my father having migraines and that it was very important to me to get it fixed. At that point he got loud and was very rude. I was the only one in the store and i wasn't loud at all. He went on telling me that they can't change company policy because I have a problem and told me that my problem isn't his problem and laughed. I felt very disrespected and I left the store at that point. My father suffers from multiple medical issues including breathing problems because he only has one lung. He has a medical note from his doctor excluding him from wearing a mask. My father went in the store trying to figure out the situation (why they wouldn't help) and he was also addressed in a very disrespectful manner by this same gentleman. Telling him that he had to leave the store because he was not wearing a mask. At that point my father showed this gentleman his medical note from his doctor and the man said that his medical issues didn't matter and that if he doesn't have a mask then he needs to leave the store also laughing at him. My father tried to explain his situation about the bed and the manager called the cops on my father stating that my father was harassing him and refused to wear a mask. My father was not harassing whatsoever and has a medical note from a doctor stating he does not have to wear a mask. At the end of the day we both felt very disrespected by the same gentleman on two separate occasions. This man was very rude and apparently thought our situationwas funny by how he kept laughing at us. He later called and apologized to my father for coming off rude. But no matter what. That is not how a customer should be treated. We own our own business and I would never want any of my customers to feel the disrespect we felt from this gentleman. If a worker at my store treated a customer like this in any manner they would be penalized. *Edit its been almost 3 weeks since I tried to get this bed fixed. I received a phone call from the other manager apologizing for the actions of their worker and I was told they would call me in a couple days to repair it. I never received a call back. From the very beginning, I made it clear that I needed my mattress to be delivered AFTER 3:30 DURING THE WEEK, and was told, "Yeah, I can make that happen!"... I then received a Robo Call the day before it was to be delivered, telling me that it would arrive between 9:30am and 11:30am, WHEN NOBODY WOULD BE THERE TO RECEIVE IT... I hung up and immediately called Josh Murphy, The Store Manager, WHO PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT AND THAT HE WOULD CALL ME RIGHT BACK... NEITHER ONE HAPPENED..!!! Read moreWe went mattress shopping yesterday and had an idea on what we wanted to get. As we entered the store we were greeted and began looking around. During this time, there was another customer in the store who was very belligerent, demanding and continued to escalate during the course of the conversation... to the point we could hear everything that was going on clear across the store. As the conversation continued, Josh maintained his composure and continued to try to assist the person. His consistent helpful and deescalating manner helped resolve the issue. He then went on to help us. He was very accommodating, even to the point he offered to help deliver our mattress sooner on his off day if we needed it (we did not). He was knowledgable, helpful and accommodating and I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at the Lima store vs. buying online or looking elsewhere.
