KAY Outlet — Local services in Limerick Township

My husband and I stopped into the Kay Jewelers Outlet in Pottstown, PA and had a wonderful experience! The ladies were very very attentive and noticed us right when we walked in the door. They asked us to sign in and they assisted us right away. We were searching for wedding bands. We were married on a budget last September and had temporary silicone rings to hold us over until we found what we truly wanted. My husband got the Ever Us engagement ring for me a few years ago and we were hoping to find the wedding band to match. Unfortunately, they have discontinued the Ever Us collection and finding remaining pieces is a very difficult task. Miss Beth took on that task for us and searched tirelessly for over an hour until we insisted we would be happy with something else. I truly believe Miss Beth would have searched the whole Earth if we allowed her to continue. We are a very laid back couple and, as a female, I am very easygoing and my ring is actually the fanciest thing I own. After we all let go of the hope of finding a "lone-surviving" Ever Us wedding band, we moved on to the other options I might have. We finally decided on a beautiful enhancer that perfectly hugs my engagement ring. It is currently being resized and fitted to my engagement ring and I cannot wait to see the gorgeous finished product! We walked into the store in our lounge-wear (bummin') and if they were a truly judgmental group, such as other reviews were insinuating, we would not have even been entertained as possible customers. I find it very hard to believe that these amazing ladies would be any different towards other guests of their shop. They were very down-to-earth women and I am very excited to pick up our rings! Oh yea, my husband also found a ring LOL. He was looking for a plain white gold band and found one for a reasonable price. The ladies were trying to talk him into diamonds, but that's not really his style. He offered all the diamonds up to me, so I'll take them! This was my second time shopping at the Kay Outlet in Royersford and its definitely my last. I wanted to pick up a couple of trinkets but the sales personnel were arrogant and sarcastic ( both times). At first she acted like she didn’t notice me enter the store and when I said “ excuse me “ she totally ignored me.. Finally the manager asked her to help me. She had an attitude as if she felt I couldn’t afford anything then proceeded to show me a $7000 ring.. Yes I felt offended.. we’re in the mist of a pandemic and everyone is penny pinching, so why treat a customer less than? You ladies need to brush up on your customer service skills.. We have used Kay Jewelers for over 35 years. Whether the visit was to purchase or simply clean and inspect my wedding rings, we've always been met with pleasant and helpful service. Our most recent visit, to one of the design events at this location, was no exception. Maryann and Jeannette helped us look at different options to redesign my wedding ring. They were very patient and helpful as we looked to determine what I was going to enjoy for our next 35 years of marriage!
