RUN FAR AWAY!! This is by far the WORST experience Iâve ever had working with any company. I did not have a choice as they were dispatched by my home warranty for my washer that stopped spinning. To start, their business hours are my business hours so I have to either take off work or find someone to meet them. I do not have a large circle of people so this is difficult. For the initial visit, the technician was supposed to call 30 minutes ahead to give me time to get someone over there. He called 15 minutes away so we had to rush to get home from work. He seemed nice, said that he thought he knew what the problem was and would need to order parts and come back. This puts us back several days with the weekend approaching but we understand that they need the parts. We schedule him to come back today between 1-5 with a 30 minute warning call. This morning I wake up to communications from my home warranty company that the work has been completed and to take a survey rating their work. I called them and my home warranty company to straighten it out but no one had an answer as to why it was marked completed and why we had been removed from their system. I was assured they were still coming out. I get a call from the technician saying he would be at my house in FIVE TO TEN minutes even though the receptionist and I agreed 30 minutes was the warning I needed to guarantee someone to be there. He arrives and goes downstairs to fix the machine. Then leaves without saying anything about what was broken or how he fixed it. We questioned him twice that it was fixed and he says yes. Meanwhile, we notice there is a second MAN in the work vehicle and not that it matters to me, but we smelled marijuana in the vehicle. Right after he leaves, within 10 minutes, we go down to do laundry as we have been without the machine for over a week. The machine doesnât turn on at all. Prior to him coming, the machine would turn on and dispense water, but not spin. Now nothing happened at all when it is turned on. We checked to make sure everything was plugged in and had power but still nothing. On top of this, the technician left the old parts and trash in my basement, which is dangerous as I have two dogs that could have gotten into it. We make several calls to the company to try to get the technician to come back, but we are told they canât reach him but left a message to call me. Never received this call so we kept calling the company. Finally, we ask to speak to the manager, named Tim. We explain what happened and bring to his attention about the other man in the vehicle and the smell, but that we didnât really care about that part and just wanted someone to come fix our washer TODAY as we paid for. The manager was completely rude and not willing to help. He accused us of lying and making things up about the technician. He just kept saying over and over the machine worked when the tech left because they are trained to do so. I asked how he could prove it worked and he just kept citing their training but that does not guarantee that the technician did what he was trained to do. People are human and make mistakes, but he wasnât having that. He said he didnât appreciate us making up that it was a man in the work vehicle with him and instead stated it was the technicians son (implying a younger person, not the man we saw) and that we couldnât have smelled marijuana because their employees are all tested and the son âdoesnât do thatâ. But there are ways to get around a drug test, and the supposed son is not an employee, nor is Tim his parent so how can he definitively say he or the technician do not partake? Regardless, of the ride along and pot, this shows the level of unprofessionalism we experienced up until this point to try to get this taken care of TODAY to avoid missed work, lost wages and obviously to be able to do our laundry! The manager refused to admit that the machine was never working, repeated that his techs are trained to test before leaving so therefore he must have. We now have to miss work to maybe have them fix it...
Read moreI had Busens come out to service my Kenmore dishwasher. Giving a 1E error code. The technician that arrived was friendly and I had no real issues with him other than my dishwasher still isnât fixed. I have wasted three Saturdays now trying to get my dishwasher fixed. He did replace the control board the flow valve and the flow sensor on the side and nothing fixed it that he did. what is very upsetting is he gave up and told me to call Kenmore direct and have a specialist come out and I donât believe I shouldâve had to pay a service call when my dishwasher was not fixed. Thatâs like taking your vehicle to a garage to have it fixed they tell you take take it somewhere else and still charge you!!! And I think itâs pretty sad that they are a repair center and tell me to call somewhere else!!! After dealing with them I am being told that I would not recommend anyone else to call there or use their services. It is also my understanding they do a lot of DTE service work and they deal with that DTE warranty that you pay extra for. I would warn people do not get that service plan because Busens is quite often sent out for those and due to poor diagnostics and not knowing you could be told your appliance needs to be replaced and DTE does not pay the whole cost of the appliance and you could be spending extra out of pocket for a new appliance with what DTE also gives you and it may not...
Read moreI had a problem with my lg refrigerator.called 2 different places that both set up an appt.neither one showed up. I thought to call busen's since they've been there as long as i can remember. They set up an appt. In a timely manner. He called when he was on his way & showed up as scheduled. He Knew the problem rt away. Ordered part & in no time i had a working freezer. I actually had a second issue, he came out, ordered the part & put it in. Not a lot of people are willing to work on lg refrigerators. & if they did they weren't in my area.i was thankful they were willing to look at my fridge. They say they will come out as many times as needed in 30 days. Guy replaced every part possible. It actually was worse off, but since there weren't any more possible parts to sell me , guy was done with it. So he said he talked to his boss & they would give me the money I spent the 1st visit off another refrigerator. At that point I had spent $600.00 in 3 visits. So I spent $600.00 & I still didn't have a working freezer. Parts were defroster, ice maker & freezer fan, thermistor, & finally a brain. My freezer still...
