My husband and I unexpectedly revisited the restaurant. He again selected the Superman breakfast and I selected the egg omelet with bacon and cheese. We were NOT disappointed in the meal. His over-easy eggs we're perfect, along with the hashbrowns and french toast. My omelet was incredibly BIG... with delicious pieces of bacon and cheese. I took home my leftovers to reheat the next day. My husband almost ate his entire breakfast.
The hostess returned to our table often to ask if we needed anything. The temperature was excellent... no need for a sweater.
I have updated the star rating to reflect our dining experience. As soon as possible, I will post a picture of today's meal.

Thank you for the offer, sir or madam. However, my reviews are unbiased. My husband and I will stop in unexpectedly and order the same dishes and provide another review.
Update as if 3/12/24:
It appears Kayla's Kitchen changed ownership/management. It's back to Lincoln Park Grill. The food was good, but not cooked with the same attention to detail. The over-easy eggs were overcooked...I'd rather little to no dark edges on the eggs. The hashbrowns were homefries. $3.25 for a large pop? Yes, refills are free, but the price??? Why didn't I take a picture?!?!
Name change and remodeling from Bill's Kitchen to Kayla's Kitchen. Open 6am to 3pm has excellent service!! We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is delicious, and the prices are very fair for the served portions. You don't hear a lot about that these days. Normally the portions get smaller and the prices get larger. Not here!! Picture attached is the...
Read moreThe Lincoln Park Grille is a new name on an old business that most locals know as Bill's Ham Place. It has new owners that Know the Restaurant Business very well. They have made the place their own with new delicious menu items! They are only open for breakfast & lunch/brunch. They serve Great Breakfast selections & give portions that will fill your tummy as well as leaving you no option but to Ask for A Box!! 😉 They are kid & family friendly & have highchairs for the little ones, although children must be attended by a parent. If you're dining alone, no worries, they have an 50's style counter with stools, to sit & grab a quick coffee or soda & a bite to eat.. or sit at a table & enjoy the space to read the newspaper. They'll Greet you with kindness & acknowledge their appreciation while saying goodbye upon leaving. I enjoy the omelettes, Skillets & Chicken gyros w/perfectly crisp French fries. I haven't tried the Homemade Cornbeef Breakfast hash yet, but the Hillbilly Hash browns are Great! They serve Great quality foods & meats are perfectly tender, not grizzley or chewy. Prices are what you'd expect from a Family Diner, between $1-$10/person ave depending on your order of course. Be sure to say hi to Craig, the cook. He'll appreciate the kind gesture as Kayla, the Server, will Deliver! She's spot on & never forgets your "sauce on the side". The restaurant has plenty of seating & a Large Parking Lot. They'll happily seat 1person or a party of 15, they just ask that u call ahead for lg parties. Try Lincoln Park Grille, it's a place where you can start your mornings with good food, good coffee & good people! ...
Read morePLACES LIKE THIS, were a new concept when I moved here from the west coast. Small family owned restaurants dot Michigan like Christmas lights and what differentiates Kayla and her husbands [new owners] is their leadership and the sense of community that they supports along with the menu with its quality ingredients. It's a place where there are regulars and where you get a warm welcome from Missy who provides great service and when it's not to busy will stop to chat and let you borrow her phone charger. It's a place for a hot cup of Joe and a hot breakfast cooked to perfection on a cold winter morning. Luscious poached eggs on top of crispy breakfast potatoes, onions, cheese and peppers are my way to start the day. No need to dress up, just come hungry and don't forget to say hello to Pauli if he is at the counter. He...
