Brian Jr's. Ink Spot Tattoo Parlor — Local services in Linden

Not sure who is at fault here. I lost a ball to one of my tongue piercings at work and needed a replacement immediately. Walmart just happened to be closed due to a power outage and target doesn't carry body jewelry. I looked this place up on maps under the open now tab. I get here and it's closed. I then checked the hours for today and they say 1am to 7pm.

Not cool.

Update: shout out to the fast reply and the kind words! Im pretty sure i said I needed a replacement immediately which to me means this is an emergency so being frantic is kinda normal. Anyway tattoo places normally do piercings in my experience and if not they normally are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction. This review was specifically about your posted hours which clearly say on Google maps that you are closed on Sunday and Monday. Today is Tuesday if im not mistaken. And your Tuesday hours say you are open from 1am to 7pm. Again, not sure who's at fault here but thanks anyway!

Dude are you even ok? Are you even reading my review with comprehension? I DONT HAVE AN ISSUE WITH WHAT SERVICES YOU DO OR DONT PRIVIDE WITH OR WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. THIS REVIEW WAS SOLELY DIRECTED AT THE ERROR IN YOUR POSTED HOURS. Which, if I'm not mistaken, is exactly what the reviews are for.

No, I do not know any establishment that opens at 1am. I already knew that was an error. Had I visited at 1am then you could argue that. However had these hours not been posted to Google maps as being your hours of operation then Google maps wouldn't have suggested your establishment in the list of places labeled OPEN NOW at the time of my search. How about you try being the mature business owner or whatever it is you do here and simply acknowledge the error in the hours poste and thank the potential customer for pointing that out. But I can see, since it's been about a few weeks since this pointless back and forth started, that you couldn't care any less about a star rating (good or bad) or offering actual kind words. I would've given you 5 stars from that alone honestly had you chose that route instead.

I honestly feel like I may be missing out on a great place to get a tattoo in the future but if this is the response I get for merely giving you a low rating because of an error on YOUR part then that tells me I'm not missing a thing.

I had the worst experience here ever !! I Went to this place on Saturday . I wanted to check the place out because I saw they had 5 stars plus I looked @ all the great reviews this place had, && I would only want to get my tats done by the best . I walked in very excited to speak with Brian a older guy came out he looked very disgusted && irritated . I said hi r u Brian he said yeah very unapproachable , @ that point I really didn’t even want to speak with him because he made me feel very uncomfortable like he didn’t want to speak with me. I showed him a tattoo that I already had && I just wanted to get it colored in I just wanted to know the pricing I also showed him a picture of a tattoo that I wanted to get . He told me that he wouldn’t do the tattoo @ all he was telling me how the tatoo was going to fade away, he was very negative telling me I could go somewhere else to get it done if I wanted to I mean he was very rude !! I was like omg never in my life did I walk in a place where my presence was very unwanted ! I left immediately !! My mom && I walked next door to get some food && we were talking about how disrespectful Brian was the guy who works @ the restaurant over heard us talking he said , oh no u were talking to Brian Sr he said that’s Brian’s Dad he’s very racist ! I was like that’s exactly how I felt the way this guy was talking to me he made me feel like he hated the fact that I was there . The guy to me Brain Jr his son is a very cool guy unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to meet his son . His father makes his business bad for people with color because he obviously isn’t a fan of us if I could give this place Zeros STARS I WOULD ! Brian Senior was the worst person I ever had a 5min conversation with in my life I definitely wouldn’t recommend any black person to come to this place if they have to speak with...

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my tattoos, unless Brian Jr. recommend it. Nothing less then awesome vibes and tattoos that come out from this shop! I send Brian Jr. ideas of what I would like to get and he puts a talented spin on it when drawing it up for me so I have my own meaningful/original tattoo and not just someone else’s tatt from the internet.(To the 1-star rating— understand they are not racist at all there, they except everyone for who they are and that’s hard to find: however.... if they feel that the work/tattoo there gonna put on you isn’t gonna look great 100%of your life they Will Let You Know!(there more honest then some doctors—absolutely not racist!)
