Frustrating experience with the owner, Craig. We ordered a custom coffee table. When it was complete, I called to confirm the balance owed, paid it in full, and the piece was released to us. After it's been sitting in our living room for several weeks, an associate calls and says they forgot to charge us for the legs and epoxy finish, a balance of $800. Those items were considered “add ons”. I’ve never heard of ordering a coffee table and the owner not assume I wanted legs on it, and thus not include it in the total. I called the owner and asked if we could just return the table. He said no, and that he will sue us if we don't pay. He tried everything to deflect from his own disorganization. Tried to blame me for picking it up late, blame my wife for not knowing what she was buying, blame my father in law for not relaying info to me. Begrudgingly, I paid the balance. With a newborn at home, we have better things to do than fight a miserable carpenter in court. From reading past reviews, others have had shady pricing experiences with this guy as well. Nice furniture, but make sure you have them spell out all costs in writing before giving...
Read moreMy mother bought a nice sink for our family but when we inspected closer, the porcelain part turned out to be a rare antique that could not accommodate a new faucet.(odd spread size) I suppose we were fools to buy it with the assumption that we could find one at an antiques store eventually. The owner Craig Wolf of Cherry Acres could not have cared less. I called him to see if he could exchange the sink for a different one or to get advice on where he might suggest we look for antique hardware and he SCREAMED at me to leave him alone and call a plumber. "It's not my business how you get your hardware. I am only selling furniture and sinks". The sink was cute but will forever remind me of this nasty man. It will sit in a garage now in New Jersey without a faucet, until the termites devour the wood....
Read moreBeautiful high priced items, mostly imported. VERY RUDE sales people! I purchased a smaller chiminea $100.and pd up front. When I returned to PU, i entered fm rear as instructed, all excited. Only the (now) mean sales lady was present. She stared at me as if I was stealing something and was "busy with another (highly more important)" customer. I carried the heavy purchase out myself passing lots of rolls of bubble wrap. I asked if I could wrap my item and was stared at rudely again! As i lugged my unwrapped purchase out, a man came to help me. I again asked if i could wrap it for my 3 hr ride home and he told me to "just tuck it in and will be fine". So he tucked 2 pairs of my shoes around it. Thanks so much. I would never dare treat a client this way. Awful.Do not waste your time or $$$$ at...
