Will not be returning. I brought in two bags of name brand men’s clothing, most with tags still on them. When I walked in I was not greeted with a hello or anything, just simply asked if I had an ID. It seemed as I was bothering the girls by bringing in clothes. They told me they would text me when my buy was done and I received a text 8 minutes after leaving the store. I knew then it was probably going to be pretty disappointing considering it’s pretty impossible to look through two bags of clothing in 8 minutes. When I returned to the store I stood at the counter while a girl was drawing on a chalk board and it took her several minutes to even address me. They told me they were not able to take any of my items because they were not what they were looking for and they were following the board. The number one item on the board was short sleeves which is what my buy was full of. I have Calloway golf polos, drake pullovers, and several items that were brand new with tags from Gene Lockwoods. Overall I’m just disappointed with the laziness. I worked at a sister store to Plato’s for several years where I completed buys all the time so I know how the system works. Pretty ridiculous...
Read morePost for sellers: I want to begin by saying the staff was polite, helpful, and apologetic about the following.
I brought in $400-$500 worth of name brand leggings (Alphalete, Gymshark, Echt, Aybl) as well as a pair of Vans worn less than a dozen times. I was offered $89 and some change, which I absolutely could not justify. I understand they’re trying to run a business, so I didn’t have the highest expectations regarding what they could offer to pay me.
On the other hand, their athleisure stock was severely dated, sorely lacking, and of questionable condition. That being said, I was more hopeful for a more profitable exchange.
In summary, this visit has entirely dissuaded me from any future interactions. Once they told me the total they could offer, I immediately decided that I’d just sell my clothes online. I didn’t go in with the highest expectations, and I left knowing I’d most likely never be back. If you want to make a sensible profit on your items, I’d highly suggest selling...
Read moreI was very disappointed. I had a lot of clothes, shoes, jewelry and a couple of purses. Not all were name brand. The nice young lady gave me hope they could buy something from me. I was given a text saying that they had gone through all my things and it was ready. Figuring I would at least have 20 for the gas it took me to get from Hensley to West Little Rock. When I got there though. I walked in the door, waited beside a long line at the check out. While two employees were chatting next to the front door. No one acknowledged me until one girl rudely says to me "The line is over there" I said oh ok. As I was getting in line she says oh we decided not to take anything. I said nothing was good enough? " No some stuff was older and we're just not taking that." Mind you the jewelry was costume jewelry still in their original bags. Think they just didn't want to deal with me. A total waste of my time. I won't recommend businesses that act like their better than...
