Visited this location on May 14 without a mask and was served without hesitation. Visited same location again today and was refused service from staff member citing “corporate policy” requiring masks. Staff member was rude when I called shortly after asking for a manager’s name or a time to speak with them, refusing to provide any information, but encouraging me to post about it on social media. No local, state, or national mask mandate exists. Policies should be enforced universally and consistently if they exist, not selectively by a tasteless young woman turning away a pair of former loyal customers.

“Dear Mr Gunter,
Thanks for contacting us.
Please be informed this store has two large posted signs on the front doors regarding the required mask to enter the premises. Furthermore, that sign also mentions special accommodations offered to those who do have a mask, cannot wear one or prefer not to wear one.
It is obvious that you failed to read those signs in the front door. You have self incriminated yourself as trespassing this business twice. Our staff members do not create store policies. They follow them. And you need to focus on your own defiant behavior instead of our staff perhaps missing you were not wearing a mask in your first visit. Our staff members have a million things to accomplish to nicely serve customers and follow so many rules and procedures so we can serve customers. The problem is that some folks have very strong opinions about masks, whether in favor or against them and they fail to realize that businesses and any other entity (including public places, such as the public schools, public libraries, city streets; government offices, a city, state or national park), have the right to make and enforce rules at their discretion. If you choose to enter the premises of those establishments, you must abide to their rules, whether you are in favor or against them.
You have taken the time to both, post in facebook and log a complaint against the Little Rock, Arkansas store, but you have failed to read the front door sign and follow the rules when you are kindly and respectfully reminded of them. You are also making false accusations that a "young girl" at this location makes her own rules. We are sorry to tell you you are very far from the truths and facts.
You have the right to patronize any business of your choosing. Likewise, every business has the right to set rules and policies as those entities see fit. It is not your place to come dictate how a business is to be run or what rules are going to be enforced. You can either go somewhere else to get your frozen desserts served or you can also set up your own frozen dessert show. However, if you visit any business, you must adhere to the rules of that business. What you have done can amount to trespassing charges against you. Also know businesses are private entities and they have the right to refuse service to anyone. We kindly request you to stop your efforts to denigrate this store and its staff members as defaming a business or an individual is a crime punishable by law.
It is our hope that if you are against wearing a mask, that you understand we respect your position. And that respect that we offer multiple accommodations to those. At the same time, we will not tolerate anyone from challenging our rules, denigrating and defaming our staff members at any of our locations. This is not appreciated.
Sincerely, Cold...
Read moreI visited this location with my wife this weekend. While the ice cream was good, generally speaking, I was perplexed by one of their policies. Specifically, I asked for three flavors of ice cream instead of two. The server told me that I could only have two, and that if I wanted a third, I would have to get it separately from the other two. Which is beside the point. I even offered to pay to have the third flavor added, at full cost. Ultimately, however, they would not do so. It just seems strange to me that a place that allows you to customize your ice cream would not let you customize what kind of ice cream you have. I assume you're paying for how much ice cream you get and not the type of ice cream you get, so what gives? Anyway, outside of that, the flavor was really great. I got a chocolate and cinnamon bun batter mixture in a waffle Bowl. It was pretty delicious. I gave them two stars for the flavor of the ice cream. This would have been a four or five star rating if I had been able to really customize my ice cream the way I wanted. If you don't mind this issue, then I would definitely...
Read moreThey don't care about customer complaints. I had an incident with place in early September. My son was underserved, and the employees of the store were not friendly. I submitted online complaint, and the next day, the owner of the store wrote me a ridiculous email. I responded him/her asking some question based on his/her explanations. The same day, I received an even nastier email from the store owner which was accusing me of "getting extra ice cream for free of charge and not accepting the facts of being well served," and also saying "that the employees served us beyond expectation, and I cannot tell them how to do their jobs." I still keep the emails as proof. If you choose going to Cold Store Creamery of Little Rock, be prepared to be guilty of any problems you might face at the store. That is how the store rolls. It is so ridiculous that Little Rock branch even erased the Rating option from their Facebook page, possibly, because of their "beyond expected, quality services." You cannot write review or rate them from...
