Five Guys — Restaurant in Little Rock

BEST VEGGIE BURGER AND FRIES IN ALL THE LAND! And no I’m not talking about a veggie patty- I’m talking just grilled veggies with all the burger fixings. It’s literally mind blowing why this combination is so good but it is. It’s a sesame bun, loaded with grilled onions, bell peppers and mushrooms then layered with your tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle and mustard (you build it how you want- there’s a ton of free toppings but this combo never fails me). Then we have the fries. THE FRIES 😍😍😍. Sometimes when I’m in Little Rock I pop in just for a sack of fries they are that good. And yes, it’s a hefty brown sack they just pour the fries in and then you get your burger wrapped in foil and placed right on top of them. They will tell you a large is shareable for two people, don’t listen to this madness, I don’t care if it was overflowing out of the sack, you won’t wanna share these fries 😂. You can also get a free sack of peanuts here which is so random but so good. If you eat in, get a lil malt vinegar on the side- trust me, there home-cut fries come alive in this stuff but a little...

I have a severe food allergy to wheat. 5 guys is my go to when traveling because they don’t use many ingredients, just real food and have a strict allergy protocol. I was traveling through Little Rock and desperately needed something safe to eat. We stopped there about 7, well after the dinner rush. I reiterated my allergy and the severity multiple times and felt really uncomfortable with the response. The person taking my order did finally alert the crew to my allergy. My order was prepared where I couldn’t see it being worked on. I checked it before I ate anything (thank God) and found severe cross contamination and bread particles in the meet. This was horrifying. If I would have eaten this I would have required my epi pens and a trip to the ER. Allergies are serious and those of us with them need restaurants to depend on while traveling. On my way back through, I stopped at the North Little Rock 5 Guys location with no problems. Please train your staff before you kill someone or at least say you can’t accommodate allergy orders if your staff isn’t properly trained...

They messed up on my burger and my bros. We didn't complain bc we figured someone on the grill can't read, bc the cashier entered everything right, noticed on receipt. Anyway, not the same as it use to be, instead of not putting mustard off and grilled jalapenos, my bro got no jalapenos, and mustard on his cheeseburger. And, on mine instead of Jalapenos, they gave me mushrooms which clearly on the receipt it said jalapenos not mushrooms. Anyways, I wasn't impressed at all this time.. First few times I went they were good. Now, I can't say I liked it at all.. Too much mustard and ketchup smeared on. If there's a next time, I will be putting condiments on the side so it's not so over powering, that u hardly taste the burger at all! Yeah, not impressed at all, and I won't ever go back unless it's due to someone in my fam or friends choose it for lunch or dinner. Because, it sure in the heck won't be me...
