Target — Local services in Little Rock

Despite the current remodel you can expect most items to be in stock, exceptionally friendly staff, and an online shopping/curbside pickup experience that should be the standard for others to follow. The store remains my preferred Target store although it's not the most convenient. The staff is notably pleasant and always assists when I ask. The improved online ordering option and curbside pickup have far surpassed other stores in the area in overall experience and efficiency. The website is generally pretty decent at tracking item availability, which has led to fewer unavailable items at time of pickup. You can also expect to receive your items in the timeframe the website says (generally 2 hours or less). Inside the store is clean and something about the Target setup elevates the shopping experience as compared to local competitors. An issue that has existed since long before the remodel is a general lack of organization and tidiness. I suspect this is mostly the result of inconsiderate fellow shoppers, but you never know if an item is out of stock or misplaced. However, you can generally expect most items to be available. For more trendy and popular items it's hit or miss whether you will find them, but Target has a dynamic selection of many items that changes with the season. DON'T DO DRIVE UP AT THIS STORE. I almost never leave reviews, let alone bad ones, but I've done drive-up here twice and it was absolutely ridiculous. It was extremely unorganized and I was waiting for almost 30 minutes both times. This last time, I watched as people around me who came after me got their orders over and over again while parked in 98 degrees heat. I've worked retail and know how frustrating it can be at times, but finally I rolled down my window after someone who had just pulled up got their order and asked when I would get mine. There were three employees out there for drive up and my order had been in the cart the whole time and when it was given to me the employee said, "wow you've been waiting for 25 minutes." He then handed me my order and part of someone else's and didn't notice until I pointed it out. Like I said I've worked retail before and know how customers can tend to vent all of their frustration on employees and that is not what I'm trying to do. Updates almost 2 years later as of 2/11/2023

I have done order pick up in this store many times for the past two years. Today again, I went for an order pick up in store. Two staff I encountered at pick up station both greeted me with courtesy and big smiles. They were both busy sorting and preparing for customers’ pick up orders, both came towards me and provided assistance right after they saw me. The whole process went smoothly, and the staff even carefully listened to what I asked and patiently helped. I am so grateful and impressed that staff in this exact same store are always professionally trained. :)
