I can't even express how grateful I am to have found Kate. A truly skilled, talented and professionally trained hair stylist (with make-up too, which was an extra treat). She exceeded all of my expectations. I am extremely picky and have thick but fine hair that takes extra long to cut and style, and not only did she do what I asked, when I gave permission for her to do more and follow her personal instincts she blew me away with how well it turned out and how much I loved it. I was so nervous to find a new stylist, and it was a weight lifted. I left feeling light and free. Also knowing I could go back any time and tweak it if I wished, with the convenience of where she is located, and that she provides free bang trims between cuts, was great. On top of all of this she was just an awesome lovely person to talk to, who was so generous with her time and knowledge, and make up and styling tips. Kate puts the Style in Hair Stylist. I learned the hard way that Kate is simply the best hair stylist in the North Country and beyond. I went to her years ago and was very happy with the great cuts I was getting. Then a couple of job changes kept me traveling and I ended up trying stylists all over the place where I could fit one into my schedule. Some gave a string of several good cuts then would somehow drop the ball and the cuts would be terrible. Others were terrible on the first try. Finally, my job allows me to get back to Kate and I am so relieved. Having a great hair cut makes getting out the door easier and happier. I stumbled upon Kate’s boutique while I was visiting Littleton last Spring and ended up leaving with a complete overhaul of my makeup. She has such a wonderful way of helping you make the most of what you’ve got. My mom was so impressed with my new look that we planned a trip for her to get a hair and makeup consultation with Kate. She had recently had her hair lightened, and the process completely fried her hair, shocking her natural curls out of existence.
