Located over the Ammonusuc and seconds from Main Street by way of public stairs. A paved pathway down a semi steep incline leads to the beautiful, covered footbridge. The bridge overlooks the scenic and popular-to-locals "flat rock" area of the river. Swimming or wading is allowed at your own risk. Always anticipated by the community, both young and old alone surely will marvel at the bright orange pumpkins arranged a top the flat-rocks to be admired. As dusk sets in, a myriad of spooky, silly, simple and intricate Jack-o'-lanterns which are donated, designed and displayed by local participants come alive with fiery toothy and toothless grins and scary faces which appear to be "floating" and marching slow and menacingly toward their "death'. Exiting the bridge to the right reveals a neatly planned, and thought out responsibility aside a traditional mowed field great for picnics and frisbee tossing. A gravel and earthen path tip toes it's way across our the ground. Night stands await your current...

The Riverwalk Covered Bridge in Littleton, NH is a magical place. Strung across the beautiful Ammonoosuc River, it brings you to downtown Littleton if you park near the Senior Center. You could experience Littleton's Farmers' Market on Sundays or grab a cold home brew on the other side. The Riverwalk bridge is great for pictures/selfies, but it connects you to so much of the best of Littleton's eateries, boutiques and novelty stores. I highly recommend visiting the covered bridge in...

This was our first visit to Littleton NH. We wanted to see the downtown area and do the river walk as we are active walkers and like to search out new venues. It was a mid-May 85 degree day and was quite pleasant day for a new experience. After eating at Gold Pizza and visiting Chutter's candy we enjoyed our walk along the river. The covered bridge was interesting ang long. The walk was enjoyable with the river running swiftly. Several benches allowed us to enjoy the...

Fun little bridge with great views. We went for a walk from main street, crossed the river at Cottage Street and then walked along Lakeglen, before crossing back to main street over this bridge.
