This was my first visit to Littleton NH. I went to see the umbrellas (when you know you know!) But they weren't up yet. What a quaint little town! Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Not sure what the story is with the pianos, but what a great idea! It was a beautiful day for a drive and food, coffee, bookstore and shops are conveniently located right on the main street. I'll definitely be back for the umbrellas!

We found this statue by chance in the Littleton Public Library yard. I particularly enjoy the whimsy in the art. I am reminded of "The Glad Game" Pollyanna would play particularly in the hardest times. A great find! Adds to my other finds of Popeye etal in Chester, IL, Superman in Metropolis, IL, Susquatch outside of Index, WA, and Paul Bunyan & Babe The Blue Ox in Bemidji, MN.

Glad to have been able to visit! There's nothing to not like about this happy statue in front of the local library. It puts a smile on the face. There is a store across the street filled with souvenirs. Enjoy!
