I was actually pretty disappointed in not only the general interior appearance of the Livermore location but was VERY disappointed in my ability to find the items that I had intended to purchase on my visit. I needed to purchase a new ski jacket for my oldest son and needed to locate a med. adult and couldn't locate but maybe one in the entire boys and mens department. I noticed a very large sign saying Columbia and since they are one of the largest ski and or cold weather and outdoor activities clothing manufacturers. I walked over to the area mentioned and didn't find but maybe 4 or 5 different style sweatshirts and they weren't even from that manufacturer there were a couple but truly not much more that would be more suitable for 50 degree weather here in th Bay Area. The overall interior of the store was was kind of comparable to say a Goodwill or some other second hand store except that the prices absolutely reflected a high end retailer that had done the old bait and switch with the prices.... The sign would state a hugely inflated price as the original price which would be VERY hard to believe and basically the so called "sale" price was actually a price that would be better suited for a standard retail price. The other issue that I felt very frustrated with was that the entire clothing department was in complete disarray! This made it even harder to locate a suitable item for the gift I was looking for. Third item that I found was a general lack of verity. There was very few choices in not only the different styles and or colors available. There was basically black, white, or blue and some reds which made it even more difficult to locate a suitable gift for the person I had visited the location for. All in all this is among about 5 different visits I have made to this particular location and it always seems to be in disarray. It is ALWAYS and I repeat this ALWAYS very understaffed and you WILL wait to pay for your purchase which I feel is an absolute no no in retail stores. Nothing is inexpensive now days so we pay through the nose for these purchases and before we actually pull out our wallet and hand over our hard earned money we now also give up the valuable time that all seem to not have enough of and this visit was not an exception and I spent at least 30 minutes in line for them to total my purchase. I looked and it did not appear that others were purchasing in large quantities. I believe that there were 3 cashiers to handle one of the busiest days of the year in retail. Okay.... Back to the interior appearance as it looks very worn down and basically just kinda depressing on the inside of the store at this location. I wish you all good luck in your future visits to this location but I for one will most likely not be going back unless it is to perform a exchange. Good luck to the store and their...
Read moreMy wife and I were in line with approximately 10 other people waited in that line about 15 minutes before an associate came up and said this is the return line weâre not doing purchases here do you have to go to the other side of the store.... it was not posted clearly Associates around the store did not pay attention to the fact that the lines were growing and there was only one person at the register even when that one person at the register called for help it took approximately 10 minutes for the associate to show up with an attitude. I do not blame the associate I blame the management team... I guess I should mention I literally just left the hospital from surgery and have a neck brace and I am disabled and their associate did not take that in consideration at all.. I personally believe if you are employed in retail you should be considerate to your customers and at least pretend to be happy to be there.... nothing upsets me more than spending $300 at a store where the employees treat their paying customers as if me stopping in to their store to buy a pillow is the biggest inconvenience of their life... thatâs completely unacceptable and once again I blame it on the management team.... I will never go to Koles of Livermore It truly is a horrible feeling to leave a store that you just spent $300 in and get treated like...
Read morePretty clean regularly. Nice large store, but no purses, and no bags and very few wallets.. Jewelry selection can be empty quite often, and there aren't enough sterling silver options!! I'm not sure how much I like the increase of makeup products and such, and how they package all during holidays, but you can find some nifty items here. Would be very easy to come and buy your Mom's or your friend's birthday gift, or baby gift (when the kids clothes and kids are is clean) even engagement gift for your girl, wedding present like linens, home decor, etc. Prices are average, not cheap when it comes to the shoes, but the sales can be kick butt. I've spent over $100 before, but items are plentiful, not like buying from Nordstrom. Prefer Livermore location to Pleasanton. Reason: bigger, cleaner
Would be willing to go back to other Kohl's for shopping and its own review đ 4/5 Can't go wrong here for hubs, wifey, bestie, daughter son nephew niece YOURSELF... Save money during good sales. Worth it to wait for sales otherwise most items are pretty expensive for what they...
