Recently we visited the Jared Jewelry store in Lombard. We would like to compliment Niko D & Rebecca M for providing outstanding customer service. My wife's beautiful wedding ring was re-sized to perfection. My wedding ring needed re-sizing and I had a very special request to add an additional diamond stone to my wedding band representing our new daughter in law. Niko & Rebecca again working with their supporting team exceeded our expectations. Great Job!! Then came the big project. Could they and their team achieve perfection? Absolutely!!!- these were two rings that were gifted from our late grandparents in 1974. The issue we had, the rings were originally made in 18K gold. The metal was soft and unfortunately we can no longer wear them and they couldn't be restored. This is were Niko and Rebecca came up to the rescue. They suggested re- making the original rings in 14K gold. Stronger and identical to the originals was the goal. Early August we dropped the original ring and they went to work providing us with updates along the process. Today we went to review the almost finished product. The results were amazing. Both Niko and Rebecca, and the rest of their team are very professional, they listened to us the customer and they over deliver 2 beautiful replicas of my late father and grandfather rings. My Son and I will be able to wear our family rings to his upcoming wedding next month. Niko, Rebecca and the rest of the team came thru with flying colors. Job well done -Thank You! Also we would like to recognize the General Manager Brianna D today she also assisted my Son and I with a beautiful watch that I will wear in our Sons wedding. Niko was taking care of a young couple with their wedding ring needs and Rebecca was not working today. Brianna was wonderful. She answered all of our questions, showed us beautiful watches for a father to wear in his Sons wedding and provided OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!
We now have our place for all of our jewelry needs. The team: Niko, Rebecca, Brianna and their team behind the scenes really know how to take care of all their guests by creating family memories for years to come.

Read moreWas such a terrible experience every time I have been to this location. The first time I went to pick out my engagement ring. The bald manager told me the stone I want would be "ugly and stupid to get" and that the customizations I wanted would be "too over the top", I didn't ask for anything I have not seen before... Then I call yesterday to see if they can resize and engrave rings that were not from there. Bald manager also had a major attitude and seemed like I was inconveniencing him. He said yes, asked me no follow up questions. We go to the store an hour later, get helped by a great man, and the bald manager sighed and took over for some reason. Then he proceeds to tell me he can't do it because of the stone I have. That is fine, I understand. But then he proceeds to tell me that it is "a cheap stone for people who can't afford real rings, that looks fake, and never holds up for a long marriage." I was absolutely floored by his audacity to say such rude things to a customer. I needed 3 other items engraved, so I looked past his rudeness and asked about my other rings. Again, he went straight for "this one isn't real", which I had already told him. The other was "clearly not real 4k gold" even though I had the proof that it was. And the final was too textured, again I understand that is the case. He then just said "I would never sell a ring like this it looks so odd". I completely understand on not being able to do things due to certain stones and metals, but repeatedly calling my items ugly and fake was a disgraceful customer service. You always dream about those moments being so happy and exciting, and that rude bald man made my memories awful. Read moreDO NOT TAKE YOUR REPAIRS HERE! I took my engagement ring and two anniversary bands in to be cleaned, inspected and be re-dipped before vacation because I didn't want to worry about them. I picked them up three days later. The anniversary bands were still a bit yellow, but I took them home. I ended up losing a stone from my engagement ring 24 hours later. I went back in after vacation and dropped the engagement ring off to be fixed in another three days. I went back on Saturday and picked up the ring. The stone was visibly higher and not like the other stones and the salesperson agreed. The salesperson took the ring back to the repair area where we could see the repair person complaining. They offered to file down the prongs. We asked to have the ring sent to corporate and were told that it may take up to a month. We were unhappy with that timeframe so we left. Store management were watching the entire time in the nearly empty store and didn't offer any help or resolution. We took the ring and the anniversary bands to another location. Turns out that the diamond that they replaced the lost stone with was not the same quality and was set too high. Also, the anniversary bands had yellowed even more and it appeared that they had not been re-dipped. The other location fixed the poor work from this location and my rings are now gorgeous again.
