I quit my membership at this location because of lack of accessibility to handicap showers. They don’t have all their showers handicapped accessible, only one. So if you are handicapped for some reason, all the non handicapped people want to use it. The owner doesn’t care, but then again he has lawsuits active against his sun tan city. I wonder if he is still dating his sun tan city general manager in bowling green, Ky. Maybe his wife found out. Anyway, then I saw what financial problems planet fitness corporate was having with their money and lawsuits. Readers may want to google the case against planet fitness in Michigan. Then I saw this: https://youtu.be/9sGklhS_jwI?si=MMKEYUjWgFZFhlTw, readers may want to watch it. Oh and London franchisee. I will get around to the OSHA complaint. You have had plenty of time to get problems fixed. Talk to your wife, she was told about them.
Also for the rest of the public, the following comes from the Planet Fitness founder: Planet Fitness Inc. (NYSE:PLNT) Founder and CEO Mike Grondahl detailed a history of rampant abuse at the company and alleged it misrepresented its financials during a recent interview with controversial right-wing X user Libs of TikTok.
This comes after weeks of calls for boycotts of the brand after the company canceled the membership of a Planet Fitness gym goer after speaking out about a biological male in the women's locker room.
Planet Fitness's policy allows gym members to use the locker room associated with their gender identity. But this policy has led to a few high-profile cases of women feeling uncomfortable in Planet Fitness women’s locker rooms, and some women and children have reported abuse and sexual harassment at the facilities. Many of these incidents resulted in the women losing their membership, but an arrest was made in at least one instance, as previously reported...
Read moreI have been a black card member with Planet fitness in Lexington since 2014/15 or maybe even before that. I go to the one here in London maybe a few times a month because my family is still here. I am aware masks are required and I’m completely cool with it but NOT when I’m going hard on the stair stepper (with might I add) no one around me. I had a staff member come up beside me and told me to put on my mask as I tried to explain to her I am a heart patient and tried to show her my chest scar but refused to listen and told me it was policy on the equipments. I need to breathe which does EVERYONE else on a piece of equipment when exercising. I felt completely disrespected NOT ONLY would she not listen to me about me trying to tell her I have had open heart surgery, after I was done I walked by 3 other people WITHOUT a mask on. I was completely singled out. I feel it is completely over the top to require people to wear a mask while exercising when the equipment is properly spaced out and nowhere near capacity. Most people come to plant fitness for the comfortability of being able to workout without intimidation which most of those people are not in the best shape. You therefore ask these overweight and other people with preconditions to wear a mask while working out is asking for something bad to happen. I am also a member of both LA fitnesses in Lexington and neither there or either of the PF Lexington locations has required their members to wear a mask on equipments. Enforcing masks while on a piece of equipment that is properly spaced out is...

This girl is the rudest I've ever met. A lot of other members feel the same way about her. Young lady, if you don't like this job, get another one. Preferably NOT in customer service . Owner, hire someone that represents planet fitness better. A gym shouldn't be a place to avoid because a staff member has the RBF syndrome...
