I visited the Londonderry store this morning and wanted to share my experience especially for those visiting who have young children like myself. I had my one and two year old children with me and had walked from Homegoods with the carriage and entered the store. Upon entering the store there is a fairly large open area (in the main entrance, not the jewelry side). I proceeded to head down towards the children’s section when I was stopped shortly after the registers by a woman working at the register (who at the time was helping a customer checking out) who told me I could not be in the store with a carriage because “there is not enough room to move around the isles with them”. Again I had my one and two year old with me so I told her that I would leave and visit another Hallmark store then. On my out out , I noticed that they have carriages there! I turned around and said to her , “you have carriages here but I’m not allowed to bring this one in?” A gentleman shopping there agreed with me and even said he understood because I had children. Such a negative experience! I have been to both Paper Stores in Epping NH and Plaistow NH and asked if I could bring a carriage in and they pleasantly welcomed me. I will NOT be re-visiting this store, and wanted to post especially for moms out there that have to shop with their children. Also, if you do not want carriages in your store you should KINDLY post that somewhere on the building or door before entering. It just seems ironic no carriages “because the isles are too narrow” yet you have ones there ?? I hope this post helps when deciding which Hallmark stores to visit. There is another great one in Hampstead that is...
Read moreI recently went in there for the first time to view their jewelery collection. There were very few people in the store and as I approached the jewelery counter, an employee by the name of Theresa, walked away from the counter and right past me - no greeting, no acknowledgement of any kind. I proceeded to wait there for 5 minutes while her and two other employees fiddled with a wall decoration, walking by me several times to grab items to hang on it. Extremely rude and unprofessional employees - especially Theresa, as she was the one assigned to that jewelery counter. No customer service skills whatsoever. I will never step foot in that...
Read moreI just wanted to bring it to your attention I was kicked out of the store today when I had my 4 year old because I had a Marshalls shopping cart with me (which my son was sitting quietly inside). I was told I was a liability and I had to leave with that cart since their store was too small. I was just standing looking at the pocketbooks not moving around the store.
Mind you, the stroller I have is actually bigger than my shopping cart and that would of been allowed. This has now caused them to lose my business and anyone else in my family, this was not right and I shouldn't have...
