
Store #42 – Inappropriate Conduct and Unprofessional Behavior in Deli Department
During a recent visit to Store #42, I experienced a deeply concerning encounter at the Deli counter. While waiting to be served, I observed four employees engaged in casual conversation, disregarding the fact that I was the only customer present. Eventually, one of the employees called my number. When I respectfully pointed out the delay and lack of attentiveness, the staff member responded defensively, stating she had "just come in." Rather than addressing my concern professionally, she escalated the situation by behaving aggressively and making inappropriate remarks, including asking if I was a "tough guy." When I requested to speak with a manager, the employee continued her unprofessional behavior, to the extent that the manager and I had to relocate to a quieter area of the store to have a productive conversation. I later observed the same employee following the manager, seemingly intent on justifying her actions.

With a line still clearly building behind us one of the elderly workers named Bonnie had already completely stopped taking orders and begun cleaning up and putting everything away (mind you this was over an hour before closing time). It was obvious that she was intentionally not taking orders regardless of the building line when Bonnie announced to her co worker and in front of us customers “told ya we’re getting out of here on time”. This type of laziness and lack or professionalism was very disappointing to see. I can confidently speak for myself and the other 4-5 parties who waited to order behind us that we would all appreciate if Bonnies employment is retired or she be moved to a non customer...
Read moreThis store is great, but the baggers need proper training. We have called and spoken about the issues, but no changes have been made. I bring my own shopping bags. Regularly, staff uses my cold bags to put FIVE and sometimes SEVEN 2 liter bottles in one bag, often ripping them. My elderly father was asked how heavy he wanted his bags on one occasion. After responding with medium weight, that is when SEVEN 2 liter bottles were placed in one bag. Our bags have been given away to the previous customer in the past. The store staff replaced 3 out of 5 bags when this happened, and no cold bags. I've found bread at the bottom of my bag, covered with ice cream and other items. Cleaners have been packed in the same bag as food. I could go on. These are not isolated incidents, and we've been shopping at this store for...
