I would avoid this place at all cost! I Paid almost $800 dollars on a pro boat by sonic wave. I bought two batteries and a charger. Used boat three times followed direction and one battery died. Went to store with battery and they said sorry nothing they can do. Bought another battery at $76 bucks!! Go to use boat and it doesn’t work!! No support or discounts. At least help a dad out!! We are talking about a total of 30 mins run time. Boat is mint never crashed! Makes no sense to me why there is no Customer service!! I guess all my next purchases will never come from Hobby Lobby! Shame on you for not helping a kid with a brand new toy!! Place is all about the sale and then forget every going back. I buy a lot of toys for my kids!! You burnt a bridge with me. Word of mouth is a lot and I will spread the word about Hobby Lobby and my buying...

A great place to buy an RC. They go above and beyond. I was given spektrum IC3 batteries by accident for my new Mojave. Being my first Arrma and Spektrum batteries I was confused why the plugs were not fitting. I called the store back and explained the situation. Minesh recognized the mistake. I explained that I would not be able to make it back for a couple days, as I was leaving soon for dinner plans then to a friend's house (where I had wanted to show of my new RC.) Minesh told me to go to dinner and to leave the batteries in my mailbox and he would drive over (30 minutes away) and swap them. Amazing! After dinner the batteries were there and I took my Maxx and my new Mojave 4s to my friend's house. Everyone loved the RC's and the Mojave even made a new fan of the hobby!...

I've known this particular store since I was a kid. They use to be located in Plaistow, then manchester, before moving to this location. The old owners sold the company and retired. The new owner Jigna is very helpful and nice. She doesn't know alot about the different hardware but she is learning and receptive of gaining knowledge from customers. Please be patient. I'm thankful that Hobbytown is still around and that such a nice person owns it now. She was able to find me the right battery gor my drown even after the original one got discontinued. She gave me one of her plugs to charge it. Since there weren't on the shelf. Free of charge. Please make it a point to go there for your rc, scale model needs, and birthday or Christmas gifts. They deserve to stay in...
