A group of us went in last Friday night. When I first got there they had 3 waitresses on. Well they cut 1 and had 2. Let me Start off by saying I have been here in the past and one of the waitresses used to be my favorite. I never had to wait for anything and she was right on top of it. I put in a drink order with one of the waitresses and she apparently never rang it in or told the other waitress to ring it in. I then go over to the other way Waitress and notify her and she says she'll tell the other one right away fast forward 45 minutes They finally come over with the drinks and I told her I don't want it anymore because the person that we ordered it for had to leave she took it back and said she would take it off the bill. Mind you she brought over two other drinks that I did not even order. My friend and I then step outside to smoke and we back walk in to chaos. The waitress had accused me of walking out on our tab knowing full well that my boyfriend and all our friends were still there and I had walked out previously during the night. She then blamed it on one of the owners and said when she went to go have him remove the drinks he then accused me of walking out. She also then told my friends that they should leave when they turned around and said that we walked outside to smoke. The bartender came over and asked me what was going on so I explained it. And she said I'm so sorry for that. It took about a half hour to even get a tab so we could leave. She hands me a tab and I look at it and tell her it's the wrong one she then says oh is it too much what did you have and I said no it's too little and I told her everything that we had. While I'm waiting for her to adjust at the owner comes over to me and claims he never said he accuse me of walking out and I looked at the waitress and I said you just got done telling my friends that he accused me of walking out and she said I said no such thing. The owner laughed and walked away. This is not the first time that the owner accused me of doing something. The last time we were there, there was a group of drunk girls that banged into our table and we asked them to stop and she started yelling at me and then the owner went over to my friend and said that it was me, the sober one. So if you wanna go to a bar that you wait forever to get drinks, get accused by the owner, and have the waitresses royally screw up your tab well then this is the place to go. In all my years of bartending I would NEVER treat patrons that way. Extremely unprofessional! Way to go! if it gave an option for no stars that is what...
Read moreI want to start off by saying that I do enjoy game changers for their food and drinks, we live close which is why I thought it was a great idea to host my birthday party there. I had scheduled 2 lanes about a month ago for about 15 people and when we arrived we had our table set for us, however when I asked about our lanes the manager said to my party it was okay to use one lane but then the waitress ran over and said “did the manager tell you that was okay, there’s a charity event for a girl with a debilitating disease going on tonight so that’s why the lanes are still busy” which to me, on my birthday celebration we had paid for, seemed like a inappropriate way to word that to me. If they had mentioned to me weeks ago when I made my reservation that there would be a charity event I would have gladly not interrupted so I wouldn’t feel guilt all night during my celebration. The crowd of teams playing the event were rude to my party multiple times over the fact that we had “taken up lanes” when simply- we didn’t know the event was a thing. When it came time to the “end of our reservation” which was scheduled to be 9, the manager kicked us from our table and essentially made us all feel unwelcome when he had a pretty expensive tab going and we chose to leave. We figured we could stay a little longer because our lanes reserved for 715 weren’t given to us until after 8pm and a sweet guilt trip from the waitress that rolled her eyes at my party of 15+ people spending hundreds of dollars while we were there. After going there for a good calypso and steak tip salad for months- I will not be back. This whole situation could have been avoided with a phone call saying “hey there’s a charity event that night also just as a heads up” as I would have chose to not interrupt that and get rude service for all of my friends on...
Read moreThis is one cool bar. When you first walk in, you are a little taken back by the sheer size of this place, but it works. An open feeling atmosphere and friendly environment go along way.
The Cornhole lanes are pretty darn cool too!
The food and service go hand in hand, with neither disappointing. The ingredients on the nachos were fresh. Bright vibrant jalapenos, fresh salsa, and house guac. Even the chips appeared freshly fried! My only advice is, eat it fast before the cheese sets, which honestly shouldn't be an issue once you taste how good they are.
The burgers were good! Both meaty and juicy! Seasoned well, while having a char broiled exterior, and a light pink interior. Bottom line, whoever is cooking these things knows what there doing. The fries also tasted fresh and had no frozen taste. In this day and age, I can't get enough of that.
The waitress was extremely nice and kept a close eye without being overbearing. And she was a master of the art of, "How is everything?", Out of nowhere as soon as you take that big messy bite. I couldn't help but utter the words, "mmmhfff ghhffff." She knew what it meant.
The pecan Martina was also delicious, though a little sweet.
My girlfriend and I both had a great experience and will...
