If this review can stop one person from living at this place it would be worth it. This was pretty much the worst living situation I could imagine. Our apartment was continuously infested with german roaches, which the staff blamed on us, then proceeded to "fumigate" our apartment every Tuesday for weeks yet the roach problem only continued to get worse. I'm convinced there was no fumigation that actually occured until week six when pest control from OC came and low and behold the roaches were gone after that one spray.

On top of that horrible experience, the front desk staff could not be less friendly. One of them actually yelled "What are you looking at?!" at me once when I saw her on the street before she knew I lived in the building.

Other difficulties included the regular powerwashing of the building exterior, which sounds promising but they would powerwash all depree directly onto our balcony, covering it with actual inches of waste. Sometimes, the waste would even come through our front door. Awful.

There is plenty more to mention but I would argue the last important takeaway is there are a lot of difficult neighbors to live with. I would say over half the packages we had delivered were stolen. People would go to the vending machine in their underwear. Some units made just as much noise during the day as they did at night, just constant screaming and arguments.

Oh and we didn't get our deposit back despite their being no damage to the apartment.

Do not live here unless it is your last resort (it was mine...I'd been driving cross country and living out of my car for too long and became disillusioned by the female management staff. To me that communicated safety and wow was I wrong). Completely unsafe and management is aware and uninterested in improving the circumstances. My car was stolen from the garage by another tenant, you can absolutely forget about having packages delivered here because they WILL get stolen, the folks in the apartment next door to mine seem to be running some sort of…ring. Won’t get into the details but…seriously, keep your distance. At this price point you’d think they could afford to install ONE camera on the parking garage and I have BEGGED but no luck.

It seems like there’s amenities, but they come with baggage too. For example there’s a gym, but if you’re hoping to workout before work (as I was), you’re out of luck as it’s not open in the mornings. I ended up still having to pay for a gym membership as the gym is locked in the hours before work. So again I cannot stress this enough,...

I lived here for four years. I had a very good experience from the managers. Never seen a roach inside my apartment. Price was a bit high, but I had safe area for my car, a swimming pool, bbq area, jacuzzi, a gym, and a working washer and dryer next to me, all under one roof. It was a great advancement, to be next to the CSULB. I drove to class in 5 minutes. I didnt care about silence, but it was never too loud. Many times I had seen police visit the noise makers and talked them to put music down. But remember this is a university area, and dont expect to find quiet within 10 miles of the university. Unless you go into a retirement home you might find peacefull and quiet premises. Parties are going daily till 12am, then the music is put down. Lots of fun for me, the area is amazing, has many food places to walk to. Also, there is a bar close by with pool tables. Many students go there on weekends, great place to mingle and meet friends.
