My experience started when I called to ask if they could replace a screen on my daughters Iphone. I was told yes, come on by, we can do it on the spot. I drove 20 min to the store only to be told that they could not get it in today, but I should come back tomorrow. I came back the next day and they realized that they didn't even have the screen for the phone and would need to order it (even though they said they had it the previous day). Days later, with no reply I called again and they had received the screen.
The screen was replaced and they said I needed a new battery, which they offered me at 50% off due to the run around with the screen. That was much appreciated! HOWEVER, less than a week later, the new screen popped off and in trying to put it back in, it broke. I called BP and they said they had received screens with bad adhesive and mine was one of many that had failed. They told me they had replacements on the way and I should bring it in the following week.
My wife brought it in the following week and they had no record that we had even spoken and no idea what she was even talking about. I called and got a similar answer from one of the incompetent employees, who finally agreed that it was covered under warranty however would take at least a week to get a new screen in and they would call me. After multiple days with no update from them, I decided to call again. Luckily, Nate answered and was more than helpful and was able to get the screen from another store the next day and it was replaced.
A week later the same thing happened, the screen popped off. I called the shop and the run around started again. I was lucky to talk to Nate initially, who again said that the adhesive was still bad that they were waiting on a new shipment and they would call when it arrived. Nate called to say it was backordered but would call when it arrived, which he thought would be in a few days. After a week I called the shop and the associate that answered had no idea what I was calling about or even a record of what Nate had told me. At that point I decided to go into the shop, where I was told that they would look into it again and asked me to leave the phone.
Days went by with no reply, so I called the shop and the employee said that they didn't even know why I had left the phone because clearly the phone was dropped and that was why the screen was broken. They had no record of faulty adhesive....they even said they was no adhesive to even be bad, the screen was held on my screws. At this point I was so confused, so I asked the person on the phone to go in the back and talk to Nate. The employee put me on hold and when he came back he said he had talked to Nate and Nate had no idea and that I should come pick the phone up.
I went to the store to pick the phone up and to my suprise, Nate was the person manning the front of the shop. I said I was here to pick up the phone and asked if he knew why I was picking this broken phone up. He said no, I was just told you were coming to pick it up. I asked if he remembered our earlier discussions and he said yes, the screen we put on was faulty and needed to be replaced under warranty. At this point I was so confused, so I asked him if the employee I had just spoken with on the phone had actually asked him about the screen issue...ect. He said no, they just said you were coming by to pick up the phone.
At that point, he said he would definitely replace the screen with a non faulty one however that has still not happened.
There is nothing more frustrating than to have employees of the same company contradict themselves and even say their coworkers don't know what they are talking about. My 15 year old daughter (who's phone it was) has been a part of the phone calls and discussions in the store and her disbelief, even at 15 is astonishing.

Read moreThis is the worst and most over-priced store. The staff is rude and inept; especially Rob Richardson who is clueless when it comes to any electronics. He is a bumbling idiot and I hold this opinion of him in all sincerity. Do not insult this man’s lack of intelligence because he will use what little authority he has based off the fact that there is no contact information on the owner of this franchise. He is the only store manager and he lets you know he can do or say as he will because he feels that he is not under subjection to anyone’s authority other than his own. He is a crazy man run amuck and because of that I will never grace their threshold again. In fact, I normally do not post anything negative online, but because of his smug and defiant attitude I felt it necessary to make this post sharing my personal experience. This individual was so clueless on what to look for concerning my tablet which I brought in looking for a power adapter that he neglected to read the printed information on the back of the unit that clearly read that it was a 19V adapter with a positive and negative outside. When he asked me if the data connector was the power port was when I snapped back “This is not rocket Science, do you even know what you are doing?” His response was: “Aare you insulting me?” My response was “Yes!”; “You should know your job enough to not ask the customer if you are the manager of the store.” That is when he told me to leave because I bruised his little ego. I will go to Wal-mart and deal with people who really do not know anything about electronics than to go back to a store where I receive service...
Read moreI got a call from my son after attempting to get a key for his truck made at Batteries Plus in Longmont saying he was stuck in the parking lot and couldn't get home. He had driven to the store and gave the key he used to drive there to Mark to make a copy, Mark made 3 attempts to cut a key and attempted each one on the door, after the 3rd failed attempt he decided to try the keys on the ignition and not only did the three he made not work but now the one my son used to drive there wouldn't work either. Mark simply said he wasn't able to make a copy and handed my son back his key which at this point was worthless. The only way this could happen would be a mistake while cutting the keys where he accidentally cut the wrong one, there are a couple locations on the old key that look like new cuts and I have since had a locksmith come make new keys and he said there was definitely something done to the old key beyond it just being old and warn. Mistakes happen but total denial when there is only one option as to what happened is unacceptable. Even worse is leaving someone stranded due to your mistake without even attempting to help solve the problem (help look up mobile locksmith maybe). I asked Mark what had happened when I came to pick up my son and all he could come up with was that his old key simply was well warn and it was just bad luck it stopped working at this exact moment. Definitely not the place to have your auto keys made, its not worth the risk and not the type of business I want...
