Kanemoto Park in Longmont, Colorado! 🕶️ Shaded playground. 🏝️ Sandpit to play in. 🛝 Baby parent swing. 🗼Tower of Compassion, a structure built in the style of a traditional Japanese temple. #colorado #longmont #longmontcolorado #visitcolorado #coloradoplaygrounds #compassion #towerofcompassion #travel

Very spacious with many areas to make memories. The tower of compassion is a part of Longmonts history, definitely check out and read the plaque. The park contains a splash pool with slide, a new updated playground that has a fairly large central play equipment that has 4 different slides, rock climbing, bars, rope ladder, leaf pad bridge, and other adventures all shaded with a canopy directly on top. A cool metal sphere that spins. A swing set that contains two regular swings, a baby swing and a mommy and baby swing along with a sand pit area. Baseball field, lighted basketball court and a lighted sanded volleyball area with 2 nets. Also a workout area with exercise equipment. Restroom buildings. Dog friendly. Picnic areas with tables, plenty of trash cans, plenty of sidewalks, very clean and quiet.

A decent sized park with lots of attractions. It has picnic tables, benches, a calisthenics area, a basketball court, 2 volleyball nets and a themed playground with lots of grass surrounding. There is a water park, which is currently drained and closed. Running along the park is a stream and a walking path. The 5 story Pagoda is a beautiful sight, with a detailed sign that explains its purpose. A very nice reference point in the park to give you a reason to reflect. The intention of this park is very peaceful, especially since it has a peace pole, and I would recommend visiting.

The park was about a 15 minute walk for me and the kids from our new place.

They both had a good time exploring the playground for all it had to offer. My son kept staring off in the distance at the school playground which looked very desolate but beckoned him to run across the grass and check it out!

Being that it was the weekend and school is not in session, the kids had no problem enjoying the school playground next-door.

Between the two parks it was a day of child ninja warrior/follow the Leader!

Good exercise to and from for myself as well as the kiddos!

This park will get visited most weekends as my twins are 6 and this is their home park.

Escher’s favorite part about the park was, “The monkey bars and playing with other kids”. Irie’s favorite part was “The monkey bars because you held me and I could pretend that I was...

A regular stop as we wrap up our day of learning at due North Burlington Elementary, the lovely playground fifty yards east from the tower of compassion pagoda is an informal gathering spot for most of our PTA - PTO catch-up sessions. The pool - pond is s getting bad enough* that I am about to offer my services personally with the city to address it. No doubt something expensive underground is holding this post pandemic eyesore from getting fixed, but the ground this close to the creek is not settled- like I said, I can fix this Longmont, I'm cheap, let's do this! . . . Anyway, we love walking the creek path, keeping that wild as...
