My husband and I went to the Longmont, Colorado location for dinner tonight. We ordered our food which included two adult entrees and two kids eat free meals. We waited 30 minutes for our food. While waiting, all of the other customers had received their food. One tray of our food sat on the holding area, and at some point, one of the staff members put the kids pizza back in the oven to warm it up and then it went back into the tray to wait. Eventually the trays were brought out and the kids pizza was cold, the kids mac and cheese was cold, and my husband's order had been forgotten. He went up to the register to ask what happened and was greeted by a young woman who presented herself with an attitude. She said they had forgotten to include his meal and the reason why it took so long for the rest of the food to come is because the pizza maker had made a mistake in making the pizza and had to make another pizza. I went up to the counter as I could hear the woman speaking with an attitude. I said to my husband that we needed to speak to the manager. The girl said "I am the manager." She rolled her eyes and was completely disrespectful. She did not do a single thing to rectify the situation, and in fact, made my husband pay the difference for his meal even though it was the restaurant's error. When the manager came to bring his meal, she threw it on the table without any words. Both of my sons' refused to est their cold food. We ended up leaving and having to go elsewhere to get them food. I will not be returning to this location. Not only should the manager have come out immediately after being alerted to the error on the pizza to apologize, but she should have offered some kind of solution. Read moreWhile the food was probably relatively good the one waiter/cashier was one of the nastiest and rudest people I’ve encountered in some time. I had a service dog and he singled me out in line I explained calmly it was a service animal in training he said it should be certified to come in and needed a vest and I calmly said no a vest and certification are not needed. He went off in a huge huff saying something along the lines well if you are going to fight me and stormed away. The female cashier was nice and apologized said it wasn’t the first time. Said she would send someone over to talk to me and the had problems before with the worker. That never happened the same man was then bussing tables. He asked if everything was going well I told him no it wasn’t and how he had upset me. He went on again about a vest and certification I told him he needed to read up on what is required. Technically a dog in training can be denied but my dog was perfect and he was attacking me and service dogs in general. It was not regarding a dog in training at all. I just retired my current dog and have been using service dogs for ten plus years. I was visibly shaking very bad told him now that he upset me not just once but twice and was singled me out because of my disability. I was at a business lunch and it made for a absolutely horrible experience. I take my dog to many places in town several are restaurants I will never return there. I ordered Modern Market last night at the Longmont location. I used their website to place the order, as I have several times before. I placed it as delivery due to still working.
The arrival time came and went. We held off another 30-minutes just in case they were slammed with other orders. The food never arrived.
My wife called and it turns out the order was completed but a delivery person never showed up. As a result the food just sat in the window. Sure, we were frustrated but, not worth venting on someone over. The lady apologized and said she would see about a refund.
We were a bit skeptical but thought nothing of it. I received an email today with an apology, a receipt showing the refund and a voucher. They also called to apologize as well.
Despite everything going on in our world, crazy for sure, this was impressive customer service. I would have been happy with the refund. This level of customer service is incredible and has won our loyalty for sure.
