Rad place in northern Co to live. It’s got a rich history and a lot of charm. Fortunately, Longmont resisted the Boulder Trust-fund Hippie outbreak which gives it sanctuary status in this PC prison, consumer victimized, privacy breaching, corrupted police state. The aesthetic is masculine, rugged yet breathtakingly gorgeous but the unforgiving landscape & curse of the Pinwot will bring you to your knees & make you face everything you were running from in life. Overall, Colorado is like bad acid. You don’t realize your not having Fun after it’s too late to leave. Longmont is the safe place to regroup before you rally & take on the beast & ride the waves of a beautifully terrifying trip that you have little control of not getting into some sort...

Longmont is a beautiful little town with plenty to do. Anyone who says otherwise is simply being a curmudgeon. Just IGNORE the haters. They obviously never spend any time here or are haters from other towns who already look "down" on Longmont. We moved here from TN a few years back, moved downtown across from Roosevelt Park and couldn't be happier. Besides the utter, natural beauty of Mt. Meeker and Longs Peak visible from almost everywhere, there are cute little shops and fun activities to do all the time. And the parks are super clean and lush. Sure, the town closes down by 9 p.m. so it's definitely a daytime town, but there is plenty to enjoy in the evenings during festival season as well. I love it...
