I'm a returning patient to St. Lukes, I had a 2nd shoulder surgery. I had been to a different PT provider earlier and found them entirely unsatisfactory. From my first experience till now St. Lukes, most especially "Katie", Kathryn Wilkens has been absolutely STELLAR in every conceivable way. She's nice, comforting, grounded and just plain easy to talk to. She's always professional and watches each any every patient with the same sharp eyes that God gave a Hawk! I've already referred 2 friends of mine to St. Lukes and all had voiced similar opinions of Katie and the facility. I strongly recommend this facility for all of your physical therapy needs. The entire staff serves up professionalism, consideration and understanding from the front desk all the way back to the PT center itself. The big TV screen is on, great music always playing in the background, they have a daily opinion board with a different daily question on it which makes it that much more fun to be there! 10 star facility and I wanted to speak of my experiences and say a heartfelt and grateful THANK YOU to Katie and the entire staff for making Orthopedic surgery recovery fun and actually pleasant ! The absolute BEST PT facility in the entire Phillipsburg/Easton area IMHO. To the bosses at St. Lukes, whatever your paying Katie, it's NOT enough. She is a jewel, please reward her, she's phenomenal in all the best ways. Best...
Read moreI had a major stroke September 9, 2024 that affected my entire right side, I went to St. Luke’s acute rehab for the month of September then I met my fabulous team who would bring to where I am today.
Christine Borchers, my Occupational Therapist has done miracles with my right hand. I am working part-time which includes typing, driving and doing everything that a person needs to do who lives independently. Eating with utensils is something I would have never thought I could but with the help and encouragement of Christine I now can!
Erika Greer-Matsuba is my Physical Therapist who is a pint of a woman! But she is a mover and expects results. I can now go up and down the stairs with alternate feet! I can lift 40 pounds of water softener bags by myself!
Julia Regnault is my Speech Therapist who has given me confidence to facilitate TEAM Meetings! I am a Federal Employee and I am responsible for numerous meetings. I remember my first TEAM Meeting after my stroke and how expressed my fears to Julia. We practiced and I nailed it!
These Ladies have been more than my therapists - they are my friends. They genuinely care about me and my progress. They are such an asset to St Luke’s Therapy at Hillcrest Shopping Center. And I have been told by many this is the best therapy center for stroke patients and I can confirm that! Thank you Christine, Erika and Julia for giving...
Read moreI was not in good shape following my surgery. Physically and mentally I was convinced this was a bad decision. I am a 66 year old male who came out of surgery unable to hold my water. I was mortified and in a bad place mentally. To my rescue came Angela and Laura. They had seen this before and taught me a simple pelvic excersise to gain back my control. They were more caring and helpful than my urologist. Now it was time to focus on my hip replacement. This is when I got to see all the love and knowledge. From the moment you walk in you feel in good hands. Hands that really care. Macy and Angela saw me thru to graduation. The entire process is monitored and documented. You set goals and they help you attain them. I was also impressed that my surgeon was following my progress, as he does with all his patients. Macy had a very professional and loving way about getting me to push things. I was not an easy patient. Macy has the patience and heart to guide different personalities. Luckily l was one of them. As usual St. Luke's sets the bar for patient care. One more note the facility is equipped with every machine you need. They also help Parkinson patients. I would like to thank some people. Denise, Angela, Laura and Macy. I would not be walking without a cane if not for everyone at St Luke's. Not just Dr. Sadler but also everyone at physical...
