I had always considered church a place to go in times of joy & sorrow. Someplace to go for assistance if needed. A friendly congregation with a caring minister leading his/her flock. Unfortunately, this is how Crenshaw use to be, but not anymore. They now have a leader who doesn’t show up in times of illness or need. No phone calls or visits to the sick/shut in. Since being in the church at a young age, I've seen someone that called them self a pastor but when you see him outside of church. He was caught still an active gang member. And this wasn't just at one church. This was there a period of 13 years from the San Fernando Valley, South Los Angeles, Long Beach, and in the San Gabriel Valley.
