So i'm gonna make this short and sweet. My daughter and I went to have my service done. Upon my arrival, the young lady sat me down and verified what I wanted during the service. She asked me if I wanted to upgrade my lashes to a different type of lash. Which would be an extra $10? I said, " OK, that was fine."I also have an appointment to have my eyebrows. Tinted now with any other time I've had this service done. My eyebrow technician has always arched eyebrows along with the tent. So when the young lady asked me if I wanted to clean up. I assumed that that was a part of it. The service because she did not mention in an additional $15. The tent was $30. (As she did when asking about the eyelashes)At the end of my service, of course, I was taken aback because there was an extra $30. Added to my bill that I was not prepared to pay. As I explained in regard to the eyelashes, She should have explained that there's an upgrade of fifteen dollars to clean up the eyebrows. Any time a client comes in and asks for one particular service and therebprice has to change from what was originally quoted, always be transparent with that client and let them know. Yes, this is available, but it is at an additional fee. The young lady neglected to say that. And it was very embarrassing for me, Trust and believes that had i known, i would have saved myself the embarrassment
My tent (that is supposed to last at least two weeks if you wash around the area and maintain it property, which i have).Wasn't that great? My eyelashes are wonderful, but Hey, I just wanted to put this review here so that everybody knows that when you know when you go. make sure that you verify the price before you allow the service to be rendered. I have added pictures. The first picture is before the service
The third picture is right after the service was completed
The second picture is...
Read moreI have nicely shaped eyebrows and I was able to get them cleaned up so the shape would be more prominent. I love how they turned out, all for $5! If I need a clean up, I wouldn't mind coming back. The only downfall about this place is the wait. The wait was like 25 minutes to do a 7 minute eyebrow clean up. Lastly, doing my brows took so many pauses because she would talk to her friends and laugh which was annoying. She's a nice lady but the stopping every 5 seconds to turn around and laugh at jokes along with talk was very time consuming. She couldn't multitask; it was do my brows, pause, turn around and laugh, then continue until she was done.
Edit: March 11, 2020 I got my eyebrows cleaned up for $5 by the beauty guru Jayda. I was the only one in the shop so I was able to get out of there within a 10 minute span. She was very friendly speaking when speaking to me. She wasn't rough or anything when shaping my brows. She ended up put some black powder on a spot in my brow that had I a bald patch. I'm not sure if its all in my head about the pigment being darker than my actual brows, but I'm still getting used to it. Also, had to wiped away some powder since it was a little smeared under my brow. But, overall I would come back because it's only $5 for an eyebrow clean up and I'm going to take that price for...
Read moreAlthough the place is nicely decorated, I am upset with the service. I paid 120.00 for some mink eyelashes and eyebrow tint. The young lady who provides the service either did not know what she was doing or need more training. My skin of my eyelashes was glued with an excessive amount of glue and the lashes look horrible and the eyebrows looked as though I was super surprised and wide and dark. Askes if she could remove some of the color and she barely did anything. I like to support black business as to why I went twice and each time I was disatisfied with the service I will not return oh and let's not forget I always remove my own eyelashes because I have the knowledge and product to do so and let's just say I have no eyelashes left due to the amount of glue used. This is why I will not being going back for such an experience as such I would like a refund but we know blacks don't like to give...
