We bought a table, waited months, it arrived damaged, we reported it to the Croft House and this is the reply........ i have no words.

Let me start by saying I'm sorry about the table damage. I saw that the shipment had to sit a while before it was delivered as well, doesn't sound like a good experience at all. So sorry you and Sarah had to endure that.
Anyhow, we usually actually don't do refunds on the pieces - since each table is made to order we basically invest the money you pay into the table you purchased. This makes it tough for us, and like I said, causes us to usually not give them at all.
I know you guys had a rough experience, so we wanted to refund you because if I were in your shoes I would hope for the same thing. The issue that we have with getting you the refund right away is that the money you spent went into that table, like I said above. This is why we're forced to wait to receive the claim payment from the shipping co. in order to refund you.
I have one idea, but can't promise that it will get the payment back any faster. If we have anyone purchase a standard 6' hudson table any time soon, we can refund your payment. Basically, we can give them your repaired table, forward you their payment, and then wait on the claim as our payment. Does that make sense?
I can't promise this will happen faster than us receiving the claim, but it may. Please let me know what you think.
The other option is I can give you a partial refund now, and then the remainder when the claim does come through.

Wire bars hit your legs, back and everything else with no padding. Guests never comment negatively on our furniture and could not believe a) it was new, and b) that sofas could be that uncomfortable We paid an upholsterer to restuff it with no luck. We contacted the store within 6 months of owning it and they refused to address the issue. Do not buy anything from this store. Look at ALL their Yelp reviews - not the filtered ones. Sales team (Elle and Cece) were super professional double checking the size of the bed I ordered and it was ready well within the estimated completion time. Delivery logistics were conveyed to me clearly from Cristian and his team promptly arrived on time and with extreme care brought it to me all the way to Northern California.
