Today visited Mentsch Restaurant for lunch with my kids and was very disappointed with the experience. I placed our order directly with the cashier and sat down with my daughters, expecting to receive our food shortly. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, I went to the cashier to inquire about our order. To my surprise, she informed me that the order had not been sent and that the kitchen was now closed.
I expressed my concern, explaining that my kids (ages 6 and 9) had been eagerly anticipating their meal. Despite this, no one offered to help rectify the situation. Left with no other option, I grabbed a salad from the fridge and some bread to make something out of nothing. Even then, the cashier pressured me, asking if I was done because they needed to close.

Read moreA friend told me “You have to try their Sourdough.” That day I went and picked up two loaves for shabbis and all who were present at the feast loved it. I have been coming here on a weekly basis since then for the sourdough. Then last week I decided to sit down, try some of their pastries and I am so glad that I did. I started with their Buttered Croissant after the first bite I was hooked. I knew that this was going to be my go-to breakfast spot. Amongst the other things I tried the honorable mentions would be their Almond Chocolate Croissants wow!, Choclate Babka, Cinnamon twist, also they have this sort of custard chocolate chip Danish which was a whole new level of goodness, & my personal favorite the Cheese Burekas. I have yet to try the rest of their menu. The people working here are such sweet people, and the Chef is quite a guy!
Thank you Hashem for such a...
Read moreGuess what? We stumbled upon Mensch Bakery after ditching our original French Bakery plan, and it turned out to be an amazing find! My wife gets the credit for discovering it. Finding parking was a breeze, and once inside, we were surrounded by the most tempting bagels, pastries, bread, and baked goods. It was so hard to choose! I went for the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, and my wife opted for scrambled eggs. Both dishes were fresh and absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were just perfect. The coffee was out of this world, and even my wife, who's super picky about her Diet Coke, was impressed...
